To me that's a good response, it means she is most likely free that day. Sounds like you've got a date locked in. Just don't be too pushy going forward, either keep texting her to build investment (not too much, match her response time and length of message). Then on the day or the day before just say "We still on for tomorrow/today?".

Persistence works, don't let this lead die until you know it's got no hope. Be persistent without being needy. Hold the frame of a cool guy who wants to see her but has his own life and isn't waiting out for her.

Depends. Did you let her know on no uncertain terms that you are attracted to her? This sounds like a lunch date....among friends. You HAVE to lay the groundwork of attraction before you start asking for dates. Yes, it is uncomfortable to let your interests be known and get rejected, but it's less uncomfortable going through all the trouble to set up a situation for a date and spend time with her just to learn she only thinks of you as a friend. Now you're two people stuck on an awkward lunch date and have to go back to work where it will be awkward for an even greater amount of time.

Also, if you ask a woman out on a date and she says she's busy, that's a "no", however, if she counter-offers with a different day/time then it's a "yes". (She's genuinely busy, but she would like to see you). Never suggest a different day/time, wait to see if she counter-offers so you know her true feelings about you.

Anyways I think, although it’s a yes such that she will go on that lunch date with you, she’s just gonna treat it like a thing to do in her free time since she may not have that much else to do. I’ve met someone that seems to be of the same sort from what I can see in those responses and it won’t amount to any relationship or anything even remotely close to that. Potentially only a one sided platonic relationship. If you want to go out with her just for the experience then I’d say that’s great if it’s what you want to do but just don’t expect it to amount to anything at all

I think there's nothing needy about requesting for some clarity if a response is vague. Based on what you posted she responded with "that's fine" for a specific date you asked so that's a good thing. Just follow up a day before. But assuming she doesn't respond or postpones don't chase. It isn't worth it, she'll get back if she wants to
