Hey so I am new to r/seduction (new to reddit in general) but have been lurking a bit and what I have read about shit testing reminded me of a situation I was in a while ago.

I (M/21) was at this club in the small town I grew up in and I met a girl (18 call her B) I used to know from school and she asked if I wanted to go out and have a ciggarette with her.

While I was outside B introduced me to her friends (about the same age) and I started to talk to one of them (call her C) casualy just asking about where shes from what shes studying etc. and then out of nowhere she asks 'do you get nervous talking to girls?' I don't know why she would think that because I was feeling pretty comfortable at the time so I just told her no. Then she laughs and says 'I think you do' so I decide to show her I'm not by leaning in to kiss her. She pulls away and says loudly 'Did you just try to kiss me?' so all her friends hear her and are looking at us now but I just stayed calm and said 'you asked if I was nervous I was just showing you I wasn't' then turned round and started taking to one of the other girls who turned out to be B's cousin from France (call her frenchy). I study french at university and travelled there a lot so I talked to her in french a little for practice.

After that I went back inside to see my freinds and C actually followed me in and pulled me into her on the dancefloor and said she was sorry about outside and started dancing on me. Strangely enough though B came up to her and pulled her off me and I heard her say something to her along the lines of 'back off he's more interested in frenchy' and she left looking visibly upset which was a shame and quite bitchy on B's side.

Anyway somewhere in the night (too drunk to remember past that) I actually ended up getting with B. What I was wondering is was what C said in the smoking area and example of a shit test and could the reason she followed me inside because I 'maintaned my frame'?
