In case of James Bond it's not social circle it's more of his value. He is a spy, travels around the world killing people, well dressed, costly cars, overall as a man he is providing an exciting adventure to the girl. Not to mention he is smooth when it comes to talking. Anyway this is a fictional character. In real world if you have a similar lifestyle minus the killing you would automatically be more appealing to the girls you meet. From girl's pov she will get an exciting time if she enters your world

His country, among the most powerful in the world, has entrusted him with top secret clearance, and this gives him both credibility and power in the eyes of women. He's armed, dangerous, booming with confidence, and unafraid of anything. He exudes male sexuality. He's witty and has a wry, dry sense of humor. Ironically, women feel safe with him even though he's capable of killing another man with barely a second thought. He's overall quiet and mysterious, but brilliant in social situations and knows exactly how much to compliment a woman (in other words, barely). He could care less if she sleeps with him or not, women are a dime a dozen to him. He has the confidence to escalate quickly and make strong sexual connotations in his conversion with women without any fear of repercussion. I've known guys in real life that excude the same persona (it's their real personality, not an act), and believe me it WORKS. It may be fiction but it's rooted in reality to a large degree. Tom Cruise's character in Top Gun is quite similar.

Social Circles are important for longer-term relationships. Not so much for hook-ups. James Bond hooks up. Most women probably wouldn't ultimately like marry James Bond or if they did, they wouldn't be very happy with him.

I don't understand? From my perspective he walks into just about any bar, casino, etc. & becomes a part of any given social circle showing respect where due, kissing hands, playing games, etc. he essentially creates a social circle around him wherever he goes which is the ultimate form of social proof.
