A) If she's still a little hesitant if she thinks you have been drinking, just say the alphabet backwards, cos nobody can do that shit when drunk.

B) Have her choose the music on the way home; that way she stays engaged, and you can bond over your mutual shared music tastes

Furthermore on B, I find that whenever I'm going back to someone's house, it's never just to have sex with them, even though we both know it. Barney Stinson puts it best when he says you should have an object cool enough to interest/show women, but never cool enough to distract from the task at hand. I find reinforcing the reason you're going home together during the journey a useful tactic.

If you drive a standard, ask her if she can too. Odds are she'll say no. If no, tell her she has to shift and put her hand on your shift knob. Then put yours over hers and guide her through it! If yes, it still works but not quite as well or you have a good conversation topic for the ride.

I also shift a little later to get that extra throaty engine noise which can be exiting to done.
