I personally have almost exclusively women friends. I don't really see the point in having guy friends. They are either competition for women's attention, or obnoxious. Around here they're either uncultured slobs or effete pseudo-intellectuals, and nothing inbetween those two ends of the spectrum. In comparison to the men, women seem to have a more diverse emotional life. I find it far easier to deal with the folly of women, than the idiocy of most guys.

Yes, the idea of "preselection" works. When women see you with a woman, especially one they know that you're sleeping with, they know another woman has deemed you worthy of her attention. You are presumably not a creep or abusive. When I had my first long term girlfriend, I was astonished that suddenly I went from the guy who usually didn't get girls at all, to the guy who had to turn them away. There were many women who would corner me and get their hands in my pants, and beg for it. I would refuse them out of loyalty for my gf. Then when I broke up with the gf, those women disappeared.

Well, maybe not in the way you phrased it. More like "if you enter a place with a girl, other girls will find you more desirable because, if you're friends with that girl, you're clearly not a creep/rapist/douche/whatever."

ABSOLUTELY. Women want men that other women want. If you're out w/ a bunch of girls, automatically your social proof in any club or bar is high. Use this to your advantage! Get them to the dance floor, have fun w/ them, you'll see other girls look at you keenly. Grab them and let them join your circle, invite them back to your table or spot at the bar.
