My school is having a welcome week event. Any advice on what I should do to maximize my chances of getting a number/date/laid etc.

Be less sexual/forward and more social/friendly when you approach.

Also don't get too caught up in closing.

Focus more on mingling and talking to lots of people.

Allow yourself to talk to a girl you find attractive and walk away even before you get her number.

You all go to the same school and you'll all be going to the same events. Chances are you'll see each other again, so you'll be able to get her number some other time.

You'll be better off connecting with lots of women because that will lead to more sex for you long term.

For one, at the event itself you'll be more attractive with all those girls around you. And if some of those girls become your friends, you'll be able to meet women through them.

But just because you start friendly doesn't mean you can't introduce sexuality a few minutes into your convos. You can and a really smooth way of doing that is by flirting the right way.

I'd use this event as a chance to make friends and play the long game rather than short. Connect with guys and girls, secure as many numbers as possible, and create friendships that'll last throughout your college years. This will expand your social circle and create more interactions down the road

Ask for phones subtly, so you can get more, rather than being locked with just 1 girl. Be friendly as everyone says

Don't cold approach. College is unique and a special time in your life. What you need to know about this time is that there is no need to cold approach because you will be seeing these people for the next 4 years.

What I do is Plant seeds. Planting seeds is, is having a fun brief interaction with a person with time constraints. Be the one to open the set, be the one to close the set, Get names and an interesting fact about them so when you see them a week later on campus you can bring up that topic.

College and " the wild " are much different atmospheres . You can't use tactics for 1 in the other.
