So I go to this language class kinda thing a couple of times a week. I'm usually the only guy there, where the rest (between 10 and 20 depending on the day) are middle age women, a couple younger, a couple older.

Today there was a new dude there and things got interesting. Myself, I usually use the opportunity to be social, speak up, joke a bit, etc. It's usually very well received.

Today was super interesting with this guy though. He was jacked and good looking but pretty short. The fascinating thing though was his personality and how the women loved it: he was at the same time genuinely SUPER nice, not very bright, terrible at the language but also extremely comfortable. Like he was just totally at ease with the fact that he sucked at the language, comfortable in his body, taking up space but not being rude (actually very polite), at ease with a room full of women, me and everything, joking a lot too.

I thought I was doing alright but I was like damn, I need to learn how to be like this. It's a whole nother level. 😁 I wonder how someone gets to be like that. It must be kind of like a spiral of positivity, like you get good reactions early in life and just keep assuming it and treating people well and keep getting good reactions, you know? That's my guess. Anyway, inspirational.

Not the usual field report for the sub but I figured someone might find it interesting.
