I'm not saying this to brag because my results aren't spectacular or anything, but just to give some hope to anyone out there that needs it. These are the major things that I have learned:

  1. Looks matter: being in shape, well groomed matters. Some girls will just blow you out on the open because you don't hit their minimum criteria for a suitable guy.

  2. Pulling is very different than closing. LMR is a very real thing that you should be dealing with from minute 1 and all those infield videos that end with guy + girl getting in the cab or walking into the apartment are insanely misleading.

  3. Pickup is about having a shared sexual experience NOT GETTING GIRLS TO FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU - this was massive mental shift for me because the entire time I would constantly qualify to girls to try and get them to fall in love with me. You can't control if someone likes you: you can only be honest about your intentions to have sex with her if she wants to as well, great.

  4. Get off the computer. Watching videos / reading articles about pickup didn't work for me at all. That's because its free, easily and doesn't cost anything. Action is hard, expensive and means a lot of sacrifices but the results you get will be real and trump anything online.

  5. Pickup is not a cheat code. For some reason guys think they can be failures in their careers, out of shape / ugly and losers in every way but through pickup they can get girls! All of your "pickup gurus" ex. RSD Todd, RSD Tyler, RSD Max, SquattinCasanova, Neil Strauss, etc. Were successful in their lives before they mastered pickup.

Background

I really thought pickup was fake and wasn't really possible. I thought the only girls you could meet through pickup were average looking girls / bad personalities that weren't that attractive. This was after being a keyboard jockey for years with no results (who would of guessed?) And then finally taking a bootcamp and a weeklong immersion program with still no results. I got really depressed for a while and fell in the belief that money was the only way to get girls. I focused on business and made a good amount of money but after spending A LOT of money on tables at clubs with no results with girls I realized that I owe it to myself to give pickup one more shot. I decided to make a major change (new city + coaching) and commitment (2 months going out), but secretly had kind of given up hope.

Well, I just wanted to make this post to give back that hope to anyone out there that is cynical, that it is really possible and real results are definitely possible. In my first 2 weeks of committing to pickup, going out 5-6 hours a night and 4 hours day game on the weekend. I have met gorgeous girls that are more attractive than any of my past girlfriends (from social circle) and plus most of them are really cool people that are also interesting and smart.

So my results aren't great or anything but in the past two weeks, I have gotten two girls in my bed (two 8s) but couldn't close, gotten a lot of number closes that I didn't follow up on, three number closes with two 8s and a 7 that were really interested but had to leave the city, and have two girls actively texting me for dates (they are both 6s so I'm not too interested). There's been about 3 girls that were near perfect sets at the club but logistics made it impossible for them to leave. And the results have gotten much better as of late, I'd go so far as to say that for the past five days every night there was a very pull-able set (with a 7+ each time) that didn't work out because of simple mistakes on my part. And most of all these girls are BEAUTIFUL. Like Instagram model hot, or the hottest girl in high school or college. I'm so happy and excited about the results going forward.
