What is there to think about? If someone doesn't reply, why would you still reach out to them, and this doesn't only apply to women. Sure, if you like being ignored and talking to yourself, go ahead.

Just think about how your friends treat you. Do they never respond? I doubt that.

I think that when it comes to following up, you can send one double text at most. No triple, quadruple etc. If u have only sent one text with no response, then go for it. I've hardly seen any instance where the man didn't have to at least be a bit persistent at the beginning. If you are persistent in a non desperate manner, girls who fancy you will like it because it shows that you care.

A common mistake men make is that they assume girls think just like we do. When we flake or don't respond its because we are not attracted. Girls are wayyyyy more complex. She could be feeling bad, be in a different emotional state, she could have commitments with her friends (yeah girls don't ditch friends for random guys like we do for random girls), etc.

What I do when I follow up with a non responsive girl is I make sure to text something different than the initial text. So for instance if I text a girl "i bet you will like that new restaurant you're going with your family to" and she doesn't respond, I'd wait til the weekends over and then I'd initiate a new convo or set up a date.

If its a girl who you asked out on a date or hangout and she doesn't respond, I'd wait till the day before and then send a casual follow up saying something like "Hi so and so. I hope you are still available to meet me at blah blah place tomorrow evening"

I went out on a date with this girl last month, and we both seemed to have a good time and said we would hang out again. She said she was busy all of feburary traveling for her graduation trip, which she honestly is, but I suggested setting up the next date sometime next month and she suggested the place we could go, but since then I havent heard a single word from her about a week ago since she went to the states on vacation. Shes read my messages, and posted things on Instagram with her friends in the states but not hearing a single word from her is giving me the greatest anxiety. Even 'ok' would put my mind at ease but I just dont know what to do. It feels like I fucked up already...shame cause I really liked this girl..I think just seeing read on messages is extremely cancerous for me.

You need to think about efficiency.

Follow up again with a really hot girl (9-10) after 3 non responses? Maybe worth it. Following up with a 7 or 8 after 3 non responses, not really worth it and better to invest in a non responding 9-10 or even a responding one. ;)

When I was a kid , I had an imaginary friend. Now that I'm older, every human I talk to seem like nothing compared to my imagination as a kid. It's kinda sad that I haven't met a chick or anyone in particular who could entertain me better than my imaginary friend.

It's weird because ill text a girl something and get no response. And then maybe a day or 2 later ill see them or they'll text me back with no regard to the last message i sent. Part of me just thinks 'oh maybe they were busy and forgot to text back' and the other part thinks 'it takes less than 30 seconds to respond even to say you're busy and will text later."

I move on if they don't text back the first time. Plenty of fish..
Now and then, like 2-3 months later, I'll 'ping' a few girls who ghosted me with a random text or meme image that does NOT REQUIRE A REPLY (strangely, women are much more likely to respond when they don't feel obliged to [so don't ask questions]).
It's surprising how often this will start some back-and-forth which leads to a date. Sometimes you get a number then a day later the girls hooks up with another guy or gets back with an ex or whatever or is not in the right place emotionally. But a lot can change in a couple of months.

But I feel you may lose a lot of opportunities that way. I think there is a way to call out a girl for not texting back without being needy. In sales, you would never close doors right? So come up with something that leaves the door open, but is still a reminder of what she might be losing out on.

I'm drawing a blank... maybe someone has something good? Field tested?

I don't even know girls that don't text back. Literally, I do not know them. I don't even realize they don't text back, because I only notice notifications. I'm not ever thinking, "shit, she hasn't texted back!"

If she never responded to the last thing I said, then she's clearly worthless to me, why would I think otherwise?
