Sup fellas, got an interesting report. Went on a date with a girl from a dating app. Super good chemistry, had a few drinks, left and escalated. Lead her back to my place with a lot of kissing, telling her to shut the fuck up when she was just rambling and changing subjects in a playful manner, and it was working great. Went to pound town, made her O twice, and she was wrapped around me like a snake and I pet her hair and just chit chatted for a bit and she was telling me how I was introverted in conversation but extroverted in bed, pretty solid compliment. Didn’t let it get to my head though. Anyways I get a quick shower and she says she’s going to head out soon, cool. She’s a smart independent girl and I didn’t even have to ask. I may have made a mistake of being maybe too friendly, not really sure. I played a little guitar while she was waiting for her Uber and we chatted about some shit. When shes leaving I ask her if she wants me to walk her out and she goes “if you want another girl to show up yes” I didn’t mean walk her to the door, I meant the Uber, but it felt like she was trying to distance. Anyways I walk her to the door, get a nice kiss, and that was it. She texted me when she got home that she made it home safe. Cool. I go to bed. I did have a great time with her and I let her know the next day over text, that I had a good time and when she’s free we should get together again sometime. 12 hour response time, I obviously sensed pulling back, I waited 12 hours as well because she gave me a maybe day of her schedule opening next week. I basically said no prob, hit me up when you know your schedule. Never sent another text. I’ve been trying to not let it bother me because I felt like I did about 95% of the shit right, but I haven’t heard from her again and it’s been a week. I’ve basically lost my own interest because I think it’s whack, but it does sting the ego a bit. She also mentioned how she fucks with her family about pretending she’s going to make bad lifestyle choices, and even seemed to really dodge questions when I asked her questions about herself, called her out on it playfully, but I seemed to happen a lot but she would end up more physical it seemed to distract from the topic. Wasn’t even like I was asking hardcore deep questions, just trying to not blab a ton about me because I’m trying to get to know them. Smart girl though. PhD student

I know now I probably should have just waited all together for her to reach out again the day after the date, but I’m usually pretty open and just say stuff like that. No attachment to it and if they reject me whatever. She seems to be an avoidant type, anyways I’m not a fucking psychologist, she probably has other prospects, isn’t that into me, or was just looking for a hookup (profile said looking for long term). It is a little frustrating though. The girl was pretty damn hot, low key personality, but in hindsight I did notice she was very quick to deflect questions and keep them on me which I called her on. Maybe she felt like it moved too fast idk. I obviously didn’t bring up any relationship stuff because I know that’s the kiss of death. It does feel good that I am only making the energy I received, and I’m not chasing like my younger self would have done. I’ve gone through big changes in my life recently and just finally getting back into dating after quitting a dead end job, changing my career and making 6 figures now. So I guess the best is yet to come, but I do have a bit of a feeling of what did I do wrong or what’s wrong with me. Working towards being more secure, but it is so whack to have someone all over you and seem to pull away like that. It was one date, but pretty intense one. Onto the next I suppose. Don’t make the effort if they don’t, save your dignity, I now have a bit of a learning experience, know I can pull a hot girl again after not dating while focusing on career, and that dignity will show in the future. It does feel disrespectful as fuck though. She doesn’t owe me anything but don’t be all cuddly if you don’t want to do anything but fuck.
