With the sheer amount of variety in people, there’s an equal amount of variety in what people desire in a mate, short or long term.

This alone puts anything you have to say into question, because you emotions seem so fragile. This leads me to believe that your skills are rather stunted, because well-adjusted women tend to be attracted to well-adjusted men.

That, in part, has to do with social skills. That’s a large part.

There are obviously other considerations to make. Yes, hygiene and how well someone takes care of themselves do have importance.

Does being being model level attractive help? In many cases, yes.

A problem here is you are changing topics. First, you stated physical attraction.

You still don’t seem to understand that what attracts women (and men) is a whole myriad of things. It’s very rarely as simple as x, y, z, unless you are speaking in very general terms.

Yes, women like attractive men. My point is, you cannot assume what every women finds attractive.

One woman might find make models her thing, while another night desire Duck Dynasty look-a-likes, while another likes bodybuilders while another likes slim and slender types.

I asked it before and I’ll ask it again, can you define what women find attractive? Only in broad terms.

I think aiming for what you believe attracts women is somewhat off target anyway. You’re much better off improving on your own best qualities of who you are, staying true to who you instead of pretending to be someone else based on some strange idea of what you ‘think’ you should be.

That does not mean a man shouldn’t expand his horizons, interests, abilities, etc. it simply means don’t pretend to be someone you aren’t. There isn’t a problem being a nerdy guy deep down, but there is somewhat problem being a nerdy guy with poor social skills and unattractive behaviors.

Should the nerdy guy kill off the nerd? Probably not. A nerdy type guy can indeed have social skills and attractive behaviors, because there are other qualities a person can work on. It’s much easier to improve where you are, from your starting point, rather than rebuilding the whole system or pretending that starting point doesn’t exist.

The idea is to be your best self, and that means to stay true to yourself while expanding and improving.

P.S. I have no clue as to where you get your assumptions from. “Friendship will save the day,” for example. Assumptions seem to be your modus operandi.

I’m glad you are proud of yourself. Unfortunately, you still don’t understand how analogies work.

A much better analogy would have been to talk about playing against a certain player versus another. Why is that? The reason is that your analogy was an all or nothing scenario. Either you dunk or you don’t, either you get a woman or you don’t. Now, had you used the player analogy, you could make the case you won’t outplay some people, while others are closer to your equal and others are just plain easy. Secondly, there are 100+ other skills needed to really play basketball. If your only decent skill is dunking, you actually suck at basketball. Guess what? There’s a 100+ other skills with women to know.
