The comments are 100% correct on this. Typically, we try hard to attribute source whenever possible. Yesterday, I wrote several posts and instead of this one being saved as a draft until permission was received, which is standard procedure, it got posted live. Am talking to intjpua currently. We'll either pull the article or keep it up with proper attribution. Thanks everyone. - Bon

It's not a big conspiracy. We just need to do better with permission on source. Typically what I do is if I see a great comment, I try to write something on it. If it turns out good, I send an email request to the poster to see if it's cool to post.

I'm just a regular guy running a non profit blog to try to give back to the community.

I think if you actually look at most of the articles there, you'll find they are almost all attributed out the ass.

My first blog, so I didn't realize people actually read it. The numbers are so low on that site I'm surprised this is even a post on seddit, instead of a yawn.

This happened before once also, so there's really no excuse.

I'm not making any money off any of this, just trying to give back to the community. I guess at some point it stops being just your little fun side deal that's no big deal and becomes something real that people take seriously.

If I was intjpua I'd be pissed too though to see my stuff up on line. I get it. I apologize as sincerely as I can.

It's funny that this came up now, as I was about to put up a seddit link seeing if people from here wanted to do some guest blogging on the site. There's a ton of talent here from guys that aren't just arm chair quarterbacking, but actually out in the field testing stuff and seeing what works.

PUA seems to be mostly a lot of guys putting up what works and other people putting it together in better ways. Ross Jeffries begat Mystery Method begat Magic Bullets/RSD begat everything else. We're all standing on the guys before us' shoulders.

The difference here is because I wasn't trying to make money, I didn't take attributions seriously, when clearly they really are.

I'd like to add that sshields contacted me some time ago and was complimentary about my Seddit posts--he also politely asked if I would consider contributing to his blog. Apart from the white-on-black weird fonts, I've found it's quite a good read. I seriously doubt there was any malicious scamming/spamming/scraping on his behalf.

Benefit of the doubt; we're all friends here, right guys...?

This is unsettling. I never cared for plagiarism in any form. However I suspect the capable, intelligent and revenge minded sedditors will have a solution. :)

Please feel free to contact the mods too. Click the "message the moderators" link next to where the moderators are listed so we can look into this type of stuff. I would suggest this community should be used to help each other but each person should be given credit where credit is due.

I think it is creepy that other sites scrape and republish all of our reddit comments (even with attribution)
