I used to believe that girls flaked because I hadn't built enough attraction. Right from my earliest days sarging I had an easy time opening and number closing, but my flake rate was ridiculous. At one point I had over a dozen consecutive 'solid' number closes with no day twos. I thought I wasn't building enough attraction so I started kinoing more, this lead to k-closes, BUT I STILL COULDN'T GET ANY DAY 2's.

Then I finally realized flaking wasn't determined by the amount of attraction I built (attraction fades very quickly), but by how much of an emotional connection I made.

If a girl feels like she genuinely connected with you, she'll feel bad about flaking. Furthermore, she'll be COMFORTABLE with the idea of going out with you, and have no reason to flake in the first place.
