I know it sounds nuts. But I’ve been working on my self esteem and confidence and learning to really love the person who I see in the mirror but I’ve noticed a lot that a lot of my confidence is tied to women.

I went out on Wednesday night. I’ve been branching out more and really trying to get out of the house and socialize. I amped myself up. Made Sure I smell good, hair looks good, clothes are nice. I look in the mirror, tell myself it’s gonna be a good night and I’m a good looking dude, nothing to fear, you got this!

I end up going out. I have a beer at the bar. It starts getting packed. Boom. I see this attractive chick and my confidence immediately gets shut down. Self hate kicks in and immediately hate where I am. I start comparing myself to everyone else. All these dudes who look better, got more muscle etc. these attractive women would never want a second of my time, why would they? They got all this prime meat right there. Suddenly it’s going to shit. Everything I did to amp myself up goes completely down the drain and I leave the bar. I felt horrible, felt like a failure. It’s not the first time but I mean, I actually tried and really amped myself up.

Idk wtf is wrong with me when it comes to attractive women but they absolutely hold my confidence and self esteem by the balls and I absolutely hate it.

Same shit happened tonight. Went to a bar after work. A group of hotties walks in and immediately my confidence goes to shit. Can’t even look at their direction. Only my tab and I bounce. I want to be able to talk to hot women and just even get a convo going but I literally lose all hope when I see them. It’s fucking mental and I need to bring it up with my therapist.

Was just curious if anyone else had this issue?
