Pretty sure my extra warmth may be due to my "husky" body. Having extra warm hands all the time made me pretty indifferent to them, until a particularly cold winter day back in high school. Now the cold didn't bother me at all so please allow me to explain:

I was sitting at a table in Spanish-II with 2 cute girls (that couldn't stand me) and another "husky" guy like myself who we will refer to as Brent, and Brent was BFFFL with the 2 girls at our table.

After about half an hour, the majority of my peers in the room were beginning to curl/lean over the tables to keep warmer (or sleep comfortably)... except me, of course.

Brent and I start some idle chat, and one of the first things he asks is if I'm cold. Naturally, I assumed he would have been as resilient to the cold air as I was, given out similar "huskiness".

This was not true.

Now is the part of this story where I share that my buddy, Brent, was flamboyantly gay. The only reason the 2 cute girls sat with me is because I was one of a handful of his male friends in the school. We also cheated off each other a lot, but I digress...

Brent asks to see my hands, and before I can ponder why - Brent lunged across the table and grabbed my hands. The amount of appreciation he had for my warm hands made me very, very uncomfortable.

After feeling how warm my hands were, he figured they can't be extra warm all on their own... and he was feeling uncomfortably cold... -_-; so why not balance his discomfort with my own?

TL;DR Straight Guy spent about half an hour being bear hugged by a flamboyantly gay man because I was warm and he was cold.

This would be great for me. I have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy so I'm in a wheelchair. I also don't have much arm strength which makes kino kind of tough since I can't reach very far. Having a strategy to get girls to come closer would make it easier. So thanks for this :)
