From personal experience... If you do get a girlfriend while unemployed, let her know up front that you are, in fact unemployed. However, if she's cool with that.... Then congrats. But depending on the personality... She might turn up the pressure for you to find a job!!

it is the perfect position to look for a girlfriend. Compare it with a seller on the market: you have a not so awesome product to sell so if you sell it nevertheless you rock, if you do not sell it you gather the experience to skyrocket your sales when the revised product is in stock.

It really depends on your mindset and particular situation. Are you more of a neckbeard living in your parent's basement type or a struggling musician/entrepreneur/athelete with a dream? What are you doing with your life? Why did you lose your job? Are you working towards something? Why do you want a girlfriend?

Dude, I'm currently unemployed and although I met the girl I'm seeing before I lost my job, she has been really cool about it. Even though I know I have been a bit if an ass. Its not easy, but it is a great chance to show how you can handle it and get still shit done.
