On a positive note, it really does help you strive to improve yourself and become more attractive in every possible way.. as long as it’s still possible to achieve some success (while not consuming your entire life).

On the flip side, you play the game to your advantage — withholding commitment if she doesn’t meet equally high and ridiculous standards.

I don’t think attraction works in numbers like that. People have types. I’m a red head and that means I am a 0/10 for many women, but there is a small contingent where I am a 10/10.

Think in terms of being polarizing, you don’t want mass appeal, most people don’t have mass appeal and will never be able to achieve it. Lean into what sets you apart, accentuate it.

I can't stand how seemingly everyone on this sub admits how awful dating is in 2026 yet still play along with it...The average young American man lives a desperate, lonely life void of any intimacy with women besides their mother. In extreme cases not even their mother or even some friends are present in their lives. Yet people on this sub just don't seem to care.

Some people who come to this sub don't care because this isn't a sub for dating advice, but people come here for it. That's like going to a hospital to see an opera. And whining about women because they take advantage of having agency and choices is infantile. And to whine about them choosing handsome men, when guys regularly come to this sub to say stuff like they don't date below some rating, or are only looking to date women of some rating is hypocritical. Pretty much everyone prefers the best looking people, but most people also know they have to go beyond that kind of shallowness if they're going to date regularly.

Also, women don't owe you shit, and they're not living their lives to make the life of men miserable. Women who are attracted to men are trying to meet and fuck men, and there are millions of them. And most of those millions have been conditioned by our society to not be too forward, or to give too much too soon, or to seem too eager, so they follow the societal norm of waiting for a guy to make the first move and a lot of them never do. That's to everyone's detriment.

If you're living a "desperate, lonely life, void of intimacy" that's your problem. You live in a world that's full of women but rather than have a strategy to meet and engage with them, you disparage them. Women are perceptive as hell, and they try like hell to avoid guys who view them negatively or with contempt. Are sure that's not the vibe you give off.

I've said it too many times: this is not a dating sub. The techniques used for what's euphemistically called "seduction" aren't for establishing or building a real relationship; they're for getting laid. If you're interested in having a sincere relationship, be a part of social settings where women are. Do something that women find interesting, or that will bring you into contact with them. And forget about using "seduction" techniques to get one of them. You're going to have to show you're a guy worth going out with, and spending time with, and going to bed with. You're going to have to invest more time than what's needed for pickup.

So go to the right places, have a strategy, and make an attitude adjustment. Become competent, capable, and compassionate, and stop being a baby.

Calling it out won’t solve the problems of fixing one’s “love life”. It may have some effect long-term in changing the tides of the dating market. However that’s probably a 10-20 year road till it changes meaningfully. Although most likely competition will increase permanently.

The only solution is to get better whatever means necessary. You might be correct when arguing how shit the dating market. Yet the best course of action is to completely ignore it and try your best. Alternative is staying a single and blaming culture/society/woman for your lack of ability to pull.

This reminds me of when I coached players in a video-game called League of Legends many years ago. The people I’d teach would constantly complain about their teammates holding them back. The one idea that got people to climb in rank was a mindset shift. I’d simply tell them the only variable they can control is themselves.

Once they stopped blaming teammates and started blaming themselves they instantly climbed ranks. Same thing will happen to everybody who adopts this mindset in dating. Blaming anything but yourself will only limit you, it doesn’t even matter if other people are really to blame.

If delusion leads to performing better than is it really delusion?

I do OLD only. i keep meeting really mean women, like they just put me down bash my hobbies or job or looks etc (im average not ugly and my pics are accurate), one first date, i went to bathroom and she was exchanging numbers with a random guy at bar next to us...like how did that happen in 2 mins, others only meet if i uber them both ways on top of the date and they expect gifts...they never offer or willing to split or if they do it is a trap. They want more and more and offer nothing, most dont want kids, most dont even cook, most wont clean or share responsibilities, some are even conservative and dont want to have sex often or until several months of dating, some dont even look like their pics, fatter and older in person... I'm exchausted, im trying, i keep improving myself, therapy, i go into every date optimistic and leave depressed. There is little to no upside in dating women in usa anyways.

Lol I get it, but you have to reframe your mindset and become ignorant to ratios and percentages..

Best thing to do is to constantly go out and be within the proximity of what you want..

Trust me it works as far as building momentum..

And to reiterate my point, I do feel the juice isn't worth the squeeze sometimes because I can find efficiency doing something else..

But for the long term, Im most likely hurting my chances in all aspects to hit the next gear in life..

There ain't no motion on the crib..

Dein Frust ist verständlich, aber auch sinnlos. Frauen haben in der geschichte schon immer die auswahl gehabt.

Wenn du ein glückliches Leben führen willst dann musst du die Regeln akzeptieren, dein Game verbessern und dein eigenes Ego herunterschrauben. Dass setzt voraus dass du überhaupt in der lage bist über einen längeren Zeitraum diszipliniert etwas durchzuziehen und nicht bei kleinen widrigkeiten aufzugeben.

Men not calling it out because they are scared, not because they don't see it and think about it, even here in Reddit, the most nerdic place for the majority of male users, now there's a long ass list of things you can't say for everything become offensive.

If the past was where men thrived, this age is absolutely for women, that is a fact, and the way of things, rise and fall is part of the universe, now men are replaceable, irrelevant, push-overs and easy to mock, women indeed become independent thanks to the advances of the machine; the truth is, she doesn't need you anymore.

If you want to stand out with a tiny chance to get women, you need a shit-load of things, from physique to status and lots of money, while EVERY WOMEN IS TOP TIER; She's overweight!! Still gorgeous. Promiscuous!! She's a baddie. Attitude!! She's strong. Despise men!! Her rights to express opinion, they even set beauty bar so low that every women is miss universe.

While the bar for men have been set too high that only fistful of men are on the list, you need to stand out among a lot of sharks that are far better than you.

Men are put under the thumb, if you call women out, a shit-load of accusations will diminish you to the blackest corner of society, men become expandable, they crave affection from women that they are willing to accept to be friend-zoned, simps who's job only to feed women's ego, spend their income on OF so they might fulfill their emotions.
