Wait. If I was really digging her, send a second text a few days later. After that it's game over if she doesn't respond.

I usually just forget about her if she doesn't respond after the first text though.

Just wait. Sometimes, it can take upwards of a few days to get a reply. You can do other things and see other people in the meantime, so don't sweat it.

Your first text is fine. Sometimes a girl is so busy that she mentally replies but physically doesn't. You should definitely follow up. Wait two or three days. And if she still doesn't reply, then don't waste any more time.

Bad text. Do you really care? No? Then she can tell you don't care and your text was bullshit.

A more authentic text would have been like "Hey nice to meet you, I'll text you sometime this week to make plans" and then do that.

That said, now that you're in the position you're in, just wait a few days and then invite her out to something fun.

I delete numbers, if she doesnt respond the first time, i delete her number. Even if i think shes my other half. This has helped me a lot to get over one-itis really fast. One example that happened recently; was with a girl i have classes this semester, shes is super cute and we hit it off pretty well; we agreed to go to a museum. She didnt come but sent me a text the night before saying that she was staying with her friend who was living the country the day after. I was like cool whatever, and i deleted her number; she never re-schredule or text me back after that, yet we kinda hang out before class acouple of times. My older self would probably keep trying and get clingy, right now i dont give a fuck, sure she is hot as fuck and i m hornier than a 13 yr old but there are more fish on the sea.

I'm a dude but I feel like I behave like a chick when it comes to texts so here's some of my input.

I read your text, yes have I considered responding possibly, but I get distracted way to easily and 100% of the time I forget to text and by the time I remember its like well they probably lost interest.

I'd wait a couple days maybe 3 and then text one more time, if no response drop her .

I'll throw out a text the next day. If I don't get a reply, I don't really care because I'm not overly invested in her. If you just met them they're basically still a stranger.

Ideally you'll want to have so much going on (with other girls and an awesome lifestyle) that you literally forget. On the follow up a few days later, just rinse and repeat. Don't even acknowledge that you send an earlier text.
