Doesn't matter whether it was a cold approach or a girl from an app.

My mind isn't on just getting her contact in the first convo. I'm already focused on setting up a date.

So what I talk about when I have a woman's number is just continue the first conversation and branch off from that starting point.

First you must have had a conversation in person, and i mean a real conversation.

If you only approached a woman and asked straight away for the number without getting to know her in person properly, then your chances are pretty much over regardless of what you text.

If you had mutual rapport, she’s more likely to text back, but getting them to meet usually needs interest on her part. You can try picking up a thread via text, something she was interes or passionate about.

for meeting up, the old school way is that you can tell them what you’re up to x day, where, and that they’re free to join you/meet for coffee/ice cream/whatever in the area. You don’t need to frame it as a date.

Also, the x you’re up to should be something you want or need to do anyway. If she doesn’t commit or show up, you’re doing what you want anyway (and I assume you’ll be meeting new people anyway as part of your day).

I go for the sex first then the number. Occasionally I will be forced to get a number but those rarely pan out. It really depends on the mindset of the woman whether she will respond to your phone call / text message. You could do everything right and still get blurred on.

Why would you talk about anything else? There is only one reason you get a woman's phone number: So you can ask her out or arrange to meet her. So that is what you talk about. Anything else is completely and utterly pointless and a waste of time for everyone involved.

Once the date is locked down, yeah you can talk about other shit for fun. But you don't have to. That's optional. But first, get the date locked down. Time and place agreed upon. That's all.

I'm honestly a bit confused why you're asking about "topics".. Like... what were you thinking to talk about? 1800s French History? Like... keep it focused on the date man. That's why you're talking. You're not talking to talk shit. That you can do that on the date.
