I am in the same situation as you. I frequently go to Malls to do day game. Plus, I complete 10k steps every time I do it.

You're basing this "theres something wrong" on random posts youre reading on the internet.

Be very very careful about who you listen to online.

I learned this the hard way back when we had "lairs" and individual city forums circa 2005. I would be in awe of the stories some of the guys would tell, convinced that I could never get to their level. Then I would meet those guys at a lair meetup and it was SO OBVIOUS they were 40 year old virgins who had never talked to a woman. I was utterly shocked trying to match up the guy's post to his persona.

A lot of us had been reading this guy's posts as gospel from god himself for the last 3 or 4 years, not realizing that in real life he's never approached before. And when we went infield, his performance confirmed exactly what we now knew to be true.

Nothing is wrong with that, the old saying is that 99% of guys don't approach during the day but it's the best time to meet women! Bars and clubs can be tough because women have bitch shields sometimes, they can be on guard and uncomfortable because men do things that make them feel that way, staring, following, inappropriate touching. Day game can be a nice change of pace

It's fine. Coffee shops, book stores are good cold approach places inside malls. People there subconsciously expose themselves to human interactions.
