I've always been the type of person to make indirect approaches and I finally realized why with indirect approaches most of the time lead no where.

95% of the time I approach a girl sitting down by herself. I go up to her and ask if I could join her. I start conversation, goes somewhat ok but not good enough to get a number. My game plan is to usually find a comment interest point and go from there but even if I did, the percent rate of success was still very low.

Today I realized why they didn't work whatsoever. An attractive girl possibly gets approached by many guys and they start a regular conversation. The idea to get the number and possibly a date is to make that approach memorable and give her a reason to remember you.

You have to give a girl a memorable approach to where she wants to see you again. It's all on you how you want to make it memorable. Could be something you say or do. It's different for each person.

Direct approaches are usually a high risk, high reward type of deal, so this problem does not happen with direct.
