My ex went full stupid. Tried much of the same. I sat back quietly taking my lumps while documenting everything via recording or whatever method. It gave me time to dig through the past. Our kid- guess who told me mom was cheating? Yeah fun. Put my kid in counseling and she simply told the truth. Then she demanded her own mom have no contact with her and counselor agreed. It exposed the years of mental abuse hidden from me. I feel terrible to this day the amount of shit I missed.

I fired my first useless lawyer and hired a shark. He put everything in front of the court including the abuse and substance abuse issues.

She not only lost custody, but she is banned from contacting her own child until she’s an adult. And she owes me CS, of which zero has been paid. Not that I care, she’s gone, gone, gone.

Play their game and find a way to flip it back on them. And be patient. Most cheaters are narcissists and that can be turned into an advantage for you. My found out. Divorced in a year and it can’t be contested.

Fuck all cheaters. They can burn in hell. It’s your job to hand them the matches and gasoline. What they do with it is their problem.

Also, if 85% of your friends have turned against you, they weren't your friends to begin with. You can't care about those individuals, only your child and you matter in your bubble.

Sorry to be blunt but have you checked if he is your Biological Son?
I dont ask if you love him but you need to know bc u cant be sure when she started cheating. And if he has another biological father, he needs to know one day as well.

Do you have evidence and documentation of everything? Document it all. Emails? Medical records of timing when she cheated and when you got the STD?

You need a lawyer ASAP.

Write down your mission statement right now: I will protect my kid at all costs.

And when you write a similar statement down, you commit it to memory so that every decision you make is keeping your mission in mind. It will clear away doubt, it will motivate you to work harder, and you will do everything in your power to make sure your son is protected.
