I don't understand. If placement is 50/50, and she makes $40k more than you, and you're paying the kids health insurance... why exactly are YOU paying HER child support?

These matters must appear in every divorce judgment (whether or not by agreement):

Marital Property Division and Debt Apportionment
Alimony (or waiver thereof)
Child Custody
Child Support
Parenting Time

These are the bare and broad minimums. What "should" be included is a much longer and more detailed list.

The court will NOT grant your divorce without these in there.

I would include it. Without a court order, nothing is stopping her from keeping the kids during your time. Might be fine now, but wait until a new woman comes along in your life and she wants to flex.

Also, it literally does not matter what you agree to on child support. She can, at any time, turn you over to child support services. They will then go by a formula that you have zero influence over. And also probably hit you for back support from your separation date. If the difference between what you’ve paid and what the formula says comes out in her favor, you’ll owe arrears.

Whatever you do pay her, make sure the check or transfer denotes “Child support April 2022” or whatever.

Man I hate to say it but don’t trust this. No paperwork and you piss her off no matter receipts or anything courts don’t care. You’ll have to start paying all over. You may even owe back child support. Just lawyer up man

If you both agree on a solution and it is outside of the legal formulas then you likely will both need to go before the judge together and tell him/her. My ex did this with her ex-h. Courts like ritual and formulas. It makes it all predictable. But, if you want to go outside of it you can.

Not only should she be paying you child support, but you're probably entitled to alimony since she makes significantly more than you. Make sure you hold that over her head if she tries to go away from 50/50

Yeah, with 50/50 custody and her making almost twice as much as you, she should be paying you (if you go by today's silly standards, frankly I don't think either should pay the other).

You are getting screwed here. Get a lawyer asap. She is using you guys get along great to ring money out of you. It might not be a big deal now, but I have seen dads living apt to apt because they were playing nice. Protect yourself.
