I had to learn the hard way that my caring and kindness is a privilege to others. They don’t deserve it if it’s not given in return. And that goes for everyone in my life not just who I’m dating...... Even working in customer service! I will still treat people with respect, I wouldn’t lower myself to be like the asshole that I’m dealing with. They look like a spoiled brat and my employees and other customers stare in awe as I politely kick their pathetic ass out the door.

If you want to volunteer for extra care-giving work there's charities and the like that if you do work for you can put on your resumé and also make valuable personal and professional contacts through. Nobody is going to give a damn in a decade how often you mended that guy's jeans for him when he tore them skating. Not even his mother who would probably have been mending them if not for you will remember or care.

Don’t do wifey shit for anyone until they marry you. I have friends who try to cook dinner for their boyfriend like try to look after them when they’re sick etc. Sure cuddle and talk and be loving but don’t give wifey shit away at a discount

Preach, sister!! Even though I like girls exclusively, I had my share of fuck girls and also being the fuck girl myself on occasion, I can whole heartedly say this attitude is universal. You gotta know how to stand up for yourself and know your self worth and then only commit to a relationship. If in a casual relationship, set your boundries and don’t cross those.
