That’s ridiculous. If they’re talking about the negatives of porn use from a science-based perspective or defending an OP who has boundaries about it in a relationship, that’s not shaming. Not their fault if some wankers feel ashamed being exposed to reality.

What about non-porn users who express their personal distaste without judging anyone in particular, but get shamed as being “prudes” or “insecure” and harassed for it? Any rules about that? 🤔

Women can’t go there for advice, especially on the subject of porn as a problem. They get called insecure and controlling bla bla, they are supposed to watch their partner shrink their brain away I guess...

Help grow our sister sub r/PornFreeRelationships so women can get real advice from women on this subject and we turn them into FDDers in the process.

My hope is that no woman who needs advice on struggling with porn posts on the mainstream RA subs where they gat gaslit and told it’s “normal” and no woman posts on Mainstream RA subs Period eventually. If they want to make it a space where women are second class, can’t have opinions and can’t speak up, then women need to withdraw from that space completely.

Yep been there done that. They totally censor the whole porn problem, they are late to the whole paradigm shift thing. It’s because they are run by men, who seem to lack intelligence or integrity Compared to women, especially on this subject.

Sometimes they will ask for source repeatedly and when you link them, they say that’s too much to read and ban you. I’m not kidding, couldn’t make this up if I tried.

Hah! No porn shaming, yet a couple days ago on a post about a man leaving his fiance after finding out her sexual history from a friend, almost every comment was calling her behavior disgusting, saying she deserved to be left and that no man would want someone after knowing that about them. So it's OK to watch a girl be defiled sexually, but not OK to be that girl later on in life. Basically admitting that the women in porn are trash to them, yet they defend it constantly.

I got a couple DMS from jerks still trying to argue with me after mods eventually locked the thread to clean it up. I wonder which comments actually got deleted?

Checked back, still plenty of comments shaming this girl. So you can't shame a guy for watching porn but you can shame a girl for living it out in her college days.

I love the "no one has ever made a complaint about this". When I was in college, a group of my friends told a member of the administrative staff we wanted to report sexual harassment.

He told us not to pursue a formal complaint and did not tell us we could have went to the actual complaints office to appeal this.

Years later, when another student made a rape complaint against EXACT SAME PERSON, she tracked us down and told us about the existence of a complaints office. With the advantage of hindsight, the complaints office came down on this administrative member of staff and demanded an explaination. His excuse for not following procedures and shelving our complaint is that "no one has ever made a complaint about me before".... after he had rigged the system by hiding the existence of the complaints office entirely from us. He got his power to handle student complaints at all revoked from him. So he will never get another complaint about his handling of complaints ever again...... erm.... really don't get this "I deserve a medal, no complaints ever" attitude. Because he shelved our complaint there was no written record that this person had ever sexually assualted or harrassed anyone until committed rape. And his only defence was that no one else had ever had the guts to find out how to make a formal complaint and to follow through with it. I keep my apology letter safe in my house, though the college couldn't force him to sign it so his manager had to.

I think we should keep telling women what we can uncensored and then they will draw their own conclusions even if they don't articulate it using the same words.
