Demonstrations are an outdated form of activisism that has many pitfalls which could cause serious negative side effects:

(from relatively harmless to fatal)

only a very small number of people show up -> at best it gets ignored or draws mockery, normies take "oh it's just a bunch of whiney loosers" as the take home message from such mockery
opponents (feminists etc) send agent provocateur which start violence or other mischief, media reports it, the MRM is now further smeared with "violent, dangerous, misgynistic incels" taint

Organizing a street protest is among the worst things the MRM could be doing right now.

MRM issues are just starting to get mainstream attention. What we need to do now is stay put and not produce any fuckups.

Just like the women's march being mixed up with anti-Semitism and hate groups, it will do way more harm than good. The only way to address men's issues is to come up with solutions, apps and ventures that help them.

Funny idea: have the "now that we're men" song play from the SpongeBob SquarePants movie. Watch the media lose their minds and call SpongeBob sexist by extension. Nickelodeon would then issue a public statement saying that they do not support the men's march to save face, and then watch the sparks fly.

I also disagree. What would say a a couple thousand men cumulatively spending well over a million dollars to walk down a street somewhere accomplish exactly?

Better to put that money to use by activists, lobbyists and lawyers who can effect real change in my opinion.
