In my opinion, really the best thing you can do right now is call out misandry when you see it. It tends to go over people's heads when a man tries to defend himself against that sort of thing, but having women call it out too is really all I'd ask for.

If I'm being honest, it might be best if you don't take a more active role, as being parts of subs like this one will hurt your "credibility" among people who call themselves feminists for a lot of reasons - some valid, most not.

It depends on where you are, but short version as follows:

Politically, write to your representatives about civil reforms. This sub focuses more on the legal issues at play, and the cold, hard truth is that nothing we speak of here will change unless a considerable percentage of women also support it. In every nation that has universal enfranchisement, women are the majority bloc of voters. Put your vote to power.

Personally, and I do not mean to insult or belittle you, but this is how I've explained it to other women: extend the same assumption of innate humanity and kindness that you give to women, to men, and that will go a long way.

Almost anything in good faith about male issues fits here, so don’t worry about that.

Changing culture and the world is a big thing for anyone. But if we stand up for the little people in our own little part of the world, people as a whole can change.

Being kind, and refusing to accept the mainstream narrative about men goes a long way.

Others have already talked about the political ways, but above all, helping the men and boys whoever they are in your life, is the greatest thing you could do.
