I posted other day on how a feminist forced herself on me despite me telling her to stop until condoms could be used, and how she admitted high risk random unprotected sex with men, (and claimed she was sick of men doing the same but her only getting viewed badly for being a woman doing it).

Well, after going to hospital to get checked out, I had the follow up today where they were meant to give me the essential second half of a course of treatment for protection against aids infection, after the male doctor I spoke to originally agreed I should have them.

I saw a female 'expert', who was meant to check how I was doing, meant to take more details and give the vital second lot of meds for protection. Even her badges/button/pins she wore had feminist logos on them, (and she wore the feminist regulation doc martin boots...) She started off all caring and friendly, then I noticed she kept referring to the person who this happened with as 'he'.

'And did HE rape you with violence?' she said. I was confused until I realised her assumptions (and shoddy work) meant she assumed that since I was male, and had talked of a person who forced me somewhat, who slept around dangerously, that it MUST be a man.

After the fourth time I corrected her-and I swear, she turned off like a tap. ALL her concern and caring just vanished, she didnt ask ONE more question about what happened, stopped asking how I was doing, didnt ask of the woman either. Then said-'Well we wont be giving you the rest of the drugs'.

Now theres two issues here. One is the issue of risk and giving the drugs. But I think the unquestionable issue that was clear cut is her assumptions and how she didnt give a shit once she heard the person who did this was female. She asked repeatedly if I wanted to go to the cops when she thought it was a man-she didnt ask ONCE when I said it was a woman.....

You need to go back to the doctor that told you to get the second treatment to explain what happened. You also need to complain about that woman for denying you the treatment the doctor ordered you take. And you need to record all of that from now on.

Though just for your info, the odds of you getting HIV from an anonymous female is 1 in a million (per episode of vaginal sex).

If it were an anonymous man, it would be 1 in 10,000.

One of these exposures is relatively high risk for HIV. The other is relatively low risk.

This is what will be said in court and that it isn't standard practice to recommend PEP for heterosexual exposures.

Though the fact that all sympathy disappeared is shocking.

if she has denied you meds without a very good reason, then that would be very unethical and I believe should be reported to whoever licenses the doctors in your region.

I would also inform the hospital that you are doing it( and if you can inform their insurance provider- of the liability) because this is i believe a malpractice lawsuit in waiting.

For everyone in these comments talking about HIV contract stats...

Your point is moot.

Even if that WAS THE reason she discontinued treatment, the appropriate response would be to carefully communicate such stats and risks to the patient and continue with the other Sexual Assault protocols (such as police referral etc.)

Not just say "No drugs" and discharge a victim as if they hadn't been victimized and carry zero risk.

Your risk of having caught HIV is about 0.00005%, but almost certainly 0%.
