And human females also love to appease dominant males. And they are also clearly often very excited by what we now call 'abuse'.

Look at the soap operas that they love to watch, day after day; the books they like to read, and the topics that are continually being covered on their emotionally-charged chat shows.

Note that the article was written in 2003 before 50 Shades of Grey was written. The book is all about an abusive relationship and women lap it up.

Alpha males who have a different point of view as to what constitutes 'attractiveness in females' will have a much harder time in comparison. For example, if they were to prefer the more dominant, the more threatening, the less readily available types of female chimps (feminist chimps) their lineages, statistically speaking, are just not going to make it.

This is why I laugh when feminists tell me that some men prefer "strong independent women". If there are men who like strong and dominant women, they are a small minority.

The problem is that women are born like this, and cannot outgrow this. They cannot be taught to care about men. If we men are to live happy lives, pursuing the effort of building a family without having to please the female chimp-brain through domineering and abusive behaviour, we need to find a way to reduce the autonomy of women. In the future, I foresee that artificial wombs will remove this problem altogether (indeed, women will be crawling and wailing for a chance to mate with actual men), but this solution will probably not be available in this or the next generation.

Oh pshaw. You know who's in love with alpha males? So-called beta males! Who seem to be a distinct MAJORITY, in spite of what would seem to be the relentless evolutionary pressure to drive them to extinction.

My dad would be likely be considered alpha, due the the leadership position & job success he achieved, but he is nothing like the cocky take-charge womanizing jackass that seems to be the ideal. He's a fun, nurturing consensus-building guy. He's also VERY intelligent, good-looking and TALL. And seriously, I think it's the tall part that gives the ultimate advantage. People defer to the tall guy because subconsciously he is 'daddy'. My husband has virtually every quality as dad but no one thinks of him as a leader...unless they actually see him in action.

And I'm a manipulative female for spending money on nice clothes?

Is anyone unaware that a Porsche costs like.... 100 times more than a Prada? !! Mathematics would suggests guys are thus 100 times more manipulative than women.
