One thing that somewhat surprised me about TRP was that although they hate on all kinds of men... "betas", "manginas", "orbiters", for "pedestaling", and so on... most of those have to do with their choices and actions, not their state of being (The insults against women are another matter),

I don't see many insults against "virgins". I can name maybe a handful of people who make a big deal out of it, and mainly indirectly. E.g. Clauderoughly who hates mgtows for "giving up" (he assumes mgtows are just virgins who gave up).

This is in stark contrast to the rest of reddit, most large subreddits, are perfectly fine using "virgin neckbeard" as an regular insult. There are plenty of images and memes dedicated to this insult. From what I've seen, significantly more prevalent than "Slut Shaming", even though the latter is complained about much more often (judging by reddit results, karma, google search results in which "slut shaming" is talked about 100 times as often as "virgin shaming", and even its own dedicated wikipedia page).

It's also notable that from my time in both TRP and TBP, I've actually seen virgin shaming more often and from more different individuals in TBP, a blue piller group about 4 times smaller than TRP and supposedly ideologically opposed to gender norms.

In a very recent topic I participated in there, where I was describing neoreactionaries I've discovered around me IRL, I was describing how they seemed like normal people (actually seem intelligent in most ways). Another post came up at around the time, immediately proposing that "They're probably just virgin neckbeards living in their mother's basement." Sure, hate on neoreactionaries for their beliefs or things they say, but why bring in "virgins", "neckbeards", or people who don't have the option of moving out of their parent's house?

That is only the last of many, many times I remember seeing it used in the sub, but if bluepillers have any integrity at all, they know it's actually quite common as a go-to insult used both explicitly and implicitly.

Ironically, this kind of insult is particularly unfair to various groups of people whom I'd assume on any other day were sympathetic or allied to TBP liberals... people ranging from gay men to straight feminist men who simply lack social skill or are just being too cautious with their approach and respect to women (yes they exist, and they've posted to TBP for help. I've talked to two in private).

Also ironically, this exact sort of social shaming is what pressures men into overvaluing sex, PUA, TRP, etc. to the point where some even become suicidal over it, like that Searcher24 guy (the guy who threatened suicide on multiple groups) who clearly has other major problems in his life that he admitted to, but has been taught he needs sex to validate his self worth.

This happens not just online, but I've have the displeasure of witnessing it many times IRL. I've literally seen liberals in front of me go from fighting gender norms to using this fall-back insult within the same breath. One of my many feminist, pro-LGBT friends complained in frustration about some guys she was arguing with on 4chan (don't ask me why), "Whatever, they are just bitter virgins just who'll never find a girl. Not real men."

Gay friend responds, "I'm probably never going to find a girl either. Am I not a man?"

And I know how difficult the subject is for many gay men especially when they haven't come out of the closet yet to most people and are insecure about their "virginity". Another gay friend confided in me that he seriously considered suppressing his sexuality and tricking a girl just so he can show his friends and family that he found a woman.

...

What's also interesting to me is that the way and context in which it's used. Virgin shaming is usually an insult to the state of being, rather than on the choice. E.g. The qualifier "desperate" is often added to make it worse. "Desperate virgin" means that the guy wants to change his state of being, but can't. It's not a matter of choice.

Tell me, blue pillers, do you believe honestly Feminism cares and puts the same effort they put into bringing awareness to "slut shaming" into this "virgin shaming"? (e.g. like the slut walks).

Why is it such a common insult even by post-modernists?

Any other thoughts on this matter?
