I think it's largely about image and what's more important to them.

The MRAs who attack TRP want to distance themselves from them and the harsh language they use, because they don't see it as helpful to having their message appeal to as broad of an audience as possible.

RPers who attack MRAs don't want to be perceived as useless weak whiners which would hinder their ability to attract women and get laid. Some also think MRAs are completely wasting their time.

We're men, we fight amongst each other. I thought everyone knew that's what men do. It doesn't mean we can't work together, its just that we don't feel the overwhelming need to ALWAYS work together and support each other. Competition is good.

The men's rights movement and TRP are pretty much mutually exclusive -- not because we don't have a lot of the same goals (we do), but because one of the core principles of TRP is that we accept the world as it is. We know that trying to change it is a waste of time and energy, so we don't try.

If you define "the manosphere" more broadly than the MRAs, then it is even more mutually exclusive with TRP, because many of those sites (for instance, those that talk about unfairness in divorce / child custody) go out of their way to try to claim feminist cred (or at least equalitarian cred) for their members, which makes them disgustingly BP.

As an MRA i'm a fan of the TRP for a unique reason.

Modern society has created TRP as a reaction to the mating world. It's a very good example of a systems theory style feedback loop caused by stress from the feminization of modern society. They leave all the cool social theory out of feminism

TRP's belligerence and size will only grow and it is already one of the most potent forces for showing people that it shit isn't right.

It's very existence is ultimately going to force wider acknowledgment of MRA issues as the anger grows past the right thresholds. It doesn't care about being accepted like MRAs but the root cause behind TRP's existence is oh so similar to our MRA bretheren.

If it continues to grow at the rate that it has, it will continue to force the manosphere into the lime light until people ask themselves some very painful questions.

They're men with different ideas trying to hash it out in their individual (group even) ways, and there isn't one single answer to all the problems that have come up since unhappy, victim-mentality women have taken the reigns over society and are, quite honestly, either trying to destroy men (well really masculinity) or are ignorantly gaining from feminism's exploiting of men and boys. I get it - I really do. They all have different approaches, ideas and angles of what works best or what needs to be done. As someone on the outside watching all of it, I'm sad to see certain sides attack each other... as a woman, obviously I view it differently. I understand that men's rights activists are there and are doing some heavy lifting to help men actually gain equality. Just today in the news a man actually WON a suit against his university that mishandled his false rape acusation, leading him to be suspended from further attendance for over a year, ruining his reputation, and treating him like he was guilty simply because a girl had regret sex. PUAs have their own agendas to help men, Roosh is into a new kind of revolutionary masculinity... but each individually is doing SOMETHING to try to solve SOME of the problems out there. Are some more effective? Sure. I think it's crazy to think that they'll all come together for some kind of higher purpose though. Sadly.
