How will you raise your daughters

Mine is being raised to take over the world--or at least be self-sufficient in 2024 when she turns 18. Honestly, as long as she doesn't end up like all these self-entitled clowns, she will please us immensely.

We steer clear of victim language. We tell her all the time that "the world is unfair--deal with it." We explain that bad things happen to good people and vice versa. She knows that she can't control circumstances (like we move a lot, her dad is gone a lot, war, etc) but that she can control her choices, attitudes, and behaviors. She is not a victim who needs rescuing. Feminism, for all of its Rosie the Riveter puffing, is essentially about women being victims in need of rescuing.

I am hoping that we are teaching her to value her body and her spirit. I don't want her to look for validation in the back seat of somebody's car. I hope she steers clear of this sex positive clap trap (hahah chlamydia, never thought of it that way).

I want her to know her worth and to demand commitment from a worthy suitor before giving up the goods. I want her to meet a man (or woman if that's her thing) who is as ethical, brilliant, and handsome as her dad.

I don't use the word feminist in my day to day life and neither do my friends and I talk about it. I pretty much use it in this forum only. So I wouldn't be going hard on the 'feminism' aspect with her either, just encouraging her to "do" rather than concentrate on what she looks like (which is very red pill).

I wouldn't tell her she's equal to males, because that might set up a worry in her mind that there could ever have been such a weird notion that females are lesser than males. I'd just raise her as a strong, resourceful person who is unafraid to pursue her passions.

I'd concentrate on the great aspects of what men and women achieve in this world, not the negative.

To work hard, do their best, respect their fellow humans, the environment and the law, be strong, generous, wise and kind. I believe that by raising my daughters to respect themselves as human beings, to take care of themselves and not consider themselves to be worth less than another purely because of their genitalia, then they are feminists.

I intend on practicing gender-neutral parenting, which means that I will allow my children to choose their own clothes, haircuts, toys, activities, favorite movies, etc. instead of trying to push them into one box or another.

I'm uncomfortable raising my children with any particular political ideology. I want to talk to them about my values and then encourage them to come up with their own opinions; the important thing is that they learn to think for themselves. That said, I am a feminist.

I'd do what Feminists refuse to do... I'd teach my daughters to take responsibility for themselves and their actions. I'd teach them the strength of merit. THEN I'd teach them how to maximize their success in society, whether or not I think such advise overlaps with society. Hopefully all that leads to them valuing hard work and engaging careers, and eventually a loving spouse... while teaching them to appreciate that spouse in return.

No, I will not raise my daughter feminist. Feminist women try to captain the ship in their marriages. Experience has shown that

1) Most women, even the most feministy feminist women, don't truly want to captain the ship even when they say they do; they want a man who is willing to captain the ship, and that requires a man even more dominant and masculine than they themselves are.

2) Most women are not sexually attracted to submissive pussy men, who are the only men who would be willing to let a woman captain the ship.

3) Most women aren't very good captains, even when they work at it.

She'll be raised much like cats or get out's daughter.

You'll probably be surprised to read this, but she won't be taught to attract or get with "TRP" men. Reason: TRP men will resist commitment and marriage, and will pursue sex as hard as they can. Most TRP men are newbies and haven't internalized it. Some TRP men have, but most haven't. Frankly, most men suck until they're about 28, and even then a lot of those men still don't have their shit together.

No. Apart from the fact that I don't think feminism does a great job at it and that the ideology compromises the long term-sustainability of a society, I agree with catsorGTFO - it breeds a mindset I wouldn't want my daughter to have. Kids should also be aware that girls are different from boys, and that this has a huge impact on their relationships (any relationship, not just romantic ones).
