I am interested in TRP, and I have tried to classify my dating life by TRP's alpha/beta/omega system. However, I've not been very successful, and so I've decided to ask the nice men of purplepilldebate what they think. (Is it female solipsism to even ask this question? Probably!)

Me: 24, female, chronically ill, polyamorous. BMI of 18 (chronic illness is good for the figure); perhaps a six in facial attractiveness. N count in the stratosphere.

Boyfriend A: Thirty. One of my favorite poets, which is how we met. Not very attractive physically, but I wanted to fuck him basically constantly because of his way with words. In his day job, a lawyer. Shy; had only had one girlfriend for only a few months; a virgin when we met. Very, very low libido.

Boyfriend B: Twenty-eight. Handsome. A materials engineer. High libido. Had many fuckbuddies before me, but I was the first person he was remotely interested in as a girlfriend. Nerd with classic nerd hobbies (D&D, anime, BDSM).

Met Boyfriend A my junior year of college; when I had to drop out my senior year because my chronic illness flared up, he supported me until we broke up and I moved back in with my parents. We fought constantly about stupid things like how the laundry should be folded. I often felt like he was more interested in the idea of a girlfriend than an actual girlfriend; he was completely uninterested in sharing his thoughts with me.

Met Boyfriend B at a party, we hit it off and started dating. He patiently waited around for me to break it off with Boyfriend A; a few months after the breakup, he said "how about instead of living with your parents you live with me?" He is calm, patient, and a saint in terms of dealing with my chronic illness; we never fight and love spending time together, and he genuinely seems interested in me. (And, yes, we fuck regularly-- 5-6 times a week.) However, I do not feel the same passion for him I do for Boyfriend A. (He doesn't care, because he says I picked him.)

So, what do you guys think? Alpha widowed by Boyfriend A? Dumped my beta bucks for the excitement of Boyfriend B? Feel free to ask for more information if you need any!
