I believe there are certain aspects of TRP that are feminine/feminist, but the nature of these aspects is well hidden for obvious reasons. This does not mean they are good or bad, but they are interesting. Some of these are rather large and major:

  • TRP is gynocentric. It is a heuristic for men to 'become successful with women' or to go after women. The implicit message is, if you're a man, then women should be important in your life, and your relation to them determines your status (alpha, beta, omega). Women's opinions of you determine where you stand in the male hierarchy. And not just any women's opinions, but...

  • TRP is the most extreme embodiment of the cutting edge development of feminism, 'Yes Means Yes'. The basic idea behind 'Yes Means Yes' is that female consent should be enthusiastic; not just the absence of a no, but the presence of an affirmative yes. Feminists assert the importance of feminine desire, but TRP obsesses over it. They are insistent that the wife or girlfriend must desire you, primally at all times, and it is up as you, a man, to go through great and strenuous efforts to constantly maintain this desire. Rollo even says that if a girl does not desire you enough, and show you this by fucking you early in the relationship, she is not worth it because she will leave you. EC's on TRP have said similar things. The genius of it, is they have managed to get patriarchal misogynistic dudes to not only buy into this, but actually try to live it out, which is more than feminism could have ever hoped to do with 'Yes Means Yes'.

  • TRP wants to turn men into sexual objects.

The number one advice on TRP is 'lift'. This is nothing more than the masculine version of women wearing makeup, or dieting, or otherwise changing their body / appearance for the pleasure of men. Traditionally, this was very important for women because they had less power, so how they physically appeared to men was more important. When men lift under the assumption this will make him more attractive to women as the main motivator, the effect is the same thing. The underlying assumption is, 'Yes, I have less power.'

PUA and other high pressure sales tactics like dread game, is nothing more than the masculine version of millenia old feminine wiles and manipulation. These were important for women for the same reason as listed above. Dread game is just the masculine version of playing hard to get.

In these areas, TRP seeks to get men to adopt behaviors that were historically associated with feminine dependency.

How as the Red Pill, a supposedly pro-men tool box, come to this state?

I believe it comes down to the capitalistic notion that urges and impulses are good, and therefore men should be in complete surrender to our sexual desires and impulses. Obviously, men: The more you desire a woman, the more power she has over you.

Despite being supposedly obsessed with male power, TRP does nothing to resist this notion; in fact, they buy into the naturalistic fallacy that because men who spread their sperm were evolutionarily successful, then the highest essence of masculinity is fucking a lot of women. The historical idea that a man's ability to resist a woman's temptation, downsides of which can be seen as recently as the femme fatale trope, or the Rocky quip 'women weaken legs', is a signifier of successful masculinity is all but forgotten. Genghis Khan's biggest achievement is transformed from building up the biggest continuous land empire in history to... how many women he fucked. In this case, TRP moderates are right that it is not as misogynistic as its biggest trolls try to drum it up to be.

The most misogynistic place I can think of in the modern world would probably be military academies like the Citadel, prior to the admission of women in the 1990s. These were exclusively male spaces organized around a mission - fighting and killing - that men are far better at in general, and had virtually nothing to do with female approval, or women in any sense. Judging by the hazing and abuse suffered by some of the first women recruits, their attitudes were retrograde and repugnant as well. TRP falls far short of those places.

However, a counter argument to all of the above is that military academies, at least left women alone, whereas TRP goes out and hurts women, precisely due to its gynocentrism.
