I guess we all are familiar with different strokes for different folks but this is only scratching the surface of this weirdness, did you know that for some ridiculous evolutionary reason that the more you look at a face the more attractive it becomes? I am not saying that it will become a 10/10 over time, just that it will always be higher than the first time you saw that person.

If you were to ask me this is one of the major reason women go for (and abuse) rapport, to them very very few men are attractive right of the bat, they need to see that face a lot for it to reach her attractiveness levels, and ARGUABLY once that level is reached similar looking men will automatically enter this attraction zone.

Men rely on body attraction much more (and women kind of do the same when they discriminate on height), which is healthier for the approacher because it allows us to make a more objective decision.

This is also why facial plastic surgery on an already beautiful woman is such a turnoff for men, it resets this mental counter if you will, she will be uglier for a period of time, even after healing.
