I use a house brand of a local drugstore, the reason is simple they are the only one's that fit me and don't cost an arm and a leg. The fit of the condom is, I think, the most paramount here. Make sure that the ring holding the rubber is not too tight or too loose. Other than that test as many types as you can to find the one type that feels great.

I totally agree. I know it's it's stupid to complain about because the latex condom is still a pretty recent invention in the grand scheme of condom history, but they don't feel good compared to the real thing.
I don't like all the advertising gimmicks like Magnums and Fire and Ice and Her pleasure and Ultra Ribbed. They all fit really tight, they all feel the same. but, unless we want to go back to lamb intestines, latex is still the best option.

yeah, fuck the 'brand names' I tend to just grab handfuls from my drs when I go there, (every 2 weeks) as they have a basketful of mixed varieties (shitty flavored ones and those which glow in the dark too!) there but the main issues I have is they're often too tight, esp at the base, (or too loose at the base, and 'rides up', but fits fine everywhere else) and I'm not 'magnum sized' either, so it's a bit hit and miss,
Plus I rarely recall which condom I grabbed at the time, and often I use a couple in a session and once it's on, well, I've never taken one off to put another one on, and if it's so fucked that it's interfering with me enjoying the sex, I'll usually take it off and get her to blow me, odds on I've already had a good munch so she's unlikely to whinge IME but I'd love to find a good fitting thin condom --- and if it breaks, so be it.
That's another thing, have any of you had condoms break on you, so far I haven't but I've heard of it. Anyone?
I don't really get a chance to 'discuss condoms' with many guys so I thought here would be a good place to get some honest feedback about them from many guys and it has been informative and much appreciated, every little bit helps in some situations, and ITT I've learned I'm not as alone as I thought. I tend not to at first but using condoms seems to 'dry' chicks out faster than bareback IME -- plus I love the 'silky dick' you get after sex, like the pussy juices have softened you cock for the day!
I must (do) have a (slightly) weird shaped (but very handsome) dick which is is a touch skinnier about 1" from the base, and where a condom is snug elsewhere, it's either too tight or too loose there! Some condoms 'flare' at the base, and I've learned different one's 'flare' either way, 'out' and 'in' and neither are good for me

I never thought I was magnum size either, but the trojan magnums are the ones that feel most comfortable for me.
I used to just grab shitty condoms from the health center back when I was in college but they would keep breaking, be retarded colors, or just feel shitty.
Spend the extra $5 and get real condoms.

long story, but it began when my back which is a bit fucked from some motorbike crashes with cars when I was <22 that have come back to haunt me. I had surgery (L5-S1 laminectomy discetomey ~18yrs ago (when I was 30) and the surgeon said he'd never seen such a gnarled, calcified and fibrisitic disc *in all his life, it should've come out of the back of an 80yr old man! . . . and you've got another one just like it 2 down"
To which I replied "what does that mean? and he states to me "aww you'll be back for another operation within the next 5yrs!" . . . I haven't had it yet but I still have back issues and a crazy complex medical history, so it pays to both keep my GP in the loop
I abseil for work, and the exercise helps, but i don't kid myself that the operation "I was supposed to have over 10yrs ago" isn't going to happen one day, it might, it might not idk, The MRI's and CAT scans I've had in the past 2yrs show a seriously degenerative back condition but I work hard to keep myself pretty fit and my core muscles as strong as possible, which abseiling actually helps, a Lot! BUT also I do my best to maintain a 'preventative regime' which entails things like having a wholesome diet, riding a pushbike a lot ... stretching, tai chi and lifting weights, but work can really wipe one out after a long day on the ropes!
I also get some medications Rx'd now and then as well, and as she knows me well, now, and she pretty much does what I want her to do, within reason, although she's a 'serious' dr, who was recently telling me in a roundabout way that I'd better not tell her too much, as she "must stay transparent", coz if she was asked by say The Govt about me about some things I've mentioned to her she Must tell the truth!
So it's best she doesn't know in the first place! lol (I told her something about our business and something which helps it do so well, NBD but, were she for some unknown reason be asked about it, she won't lie,) I'm good with that, I just NEED a dr who understands ME,, and this one finally does so I don't need to mince my words, I give it to her straight and she likes it that way
so as much as we get along so well, she's almost been like a sounding board/therapist at times for me, someone to vent my frustration about my condition and the restrictions it can (has) place on me, esp without warning, I go to bed fine and wake up hardly able to move!
And the fucking ridiculous way most drs treat me as "my truth/medical history" is unique and I am 'dis-believed' and this shit once nearly killed me (which she, my current GP/dr knows is True) so I don't need to 'prove' anything to her and when I rock up with something weird, she listens as she knows I do not lie to her, ever, I may not say everything BUT I won't mislead her, I NEED a dr i can be honest with, and this woman has come through with flying colors and the proof's in the pudding!
I was in a HUGE amount of Pain when I first met her, had to lie down during the consultation becoz of it, I was super frustrated and PISSED OFF at everything, but mainly me and my 'reckless youth' .. at this time, 4 1/2 yrs ago I thought I might never even walk properly again, then I met this dr who helped me get here now, back working, e.g. now I can abseil again! (even though I'm primarily the sales co0ordinator, I love a few cruisy days on the ropes here and there!) The/her/our success is 'self evident' and I'm pretty happy about it
That we fixed my back, back then, and since I first met this woman, my dr/GP who's very cool IMO, and she's done a lot to help me recover from that last event and helped me recover by sending me to good osteopaths and recommending other therapies which worked, PLUS supported MY ideas too, which also 'worked' together with hers!
She's become my 'friendly local GP', and a guy with my med history needs a Good one, And this woman 'has got my back' (pun intended), medically speaking, so IF the shit hits and my back fucks up again, I won't have to explain much to make sure I get the best treatment I can. strong to support my spine .. she 'gets me' now, it just took a few years of seeing her once a fortnight! Something I rather enjoy these days, just to say g'day to this cool milf!
I also have an osteopath I see every few months, or as required, and a massuese, who has 'fingers in her fingers' but she's expensive ~$80hr!
SO when I was complaining to my osteo one appt about how I could use a good massage every day after work! . . . sooo badly, but, thankfully He put me onto these amazing things called BakBallz and my partner knew a shop I could get some in, so I did so that day and these things have changed my LIFE since I began using them daily from when i first got them about this time last year

Yeah condoms fucking suck in terms of feeling... takes away like 2/3 of the feeling for me, at least. Never tried the lambskin ones, I've heard they feel better but I think they're quite a bit more expensive and are presumably less effective at protecting from STDs.

The only thing lambskin protects against is baby. Everything else will come through. I used them with my last GF and they definitely feel better than latex, but for plates you gotta run with latex or polyurethane.

I use Mysize condoms. They offer different sized condoms. What's most important for the fit is the width of the condom. If you have more girth, the normal ones you find in stores won't fit.
They get cheap when you order a 100 pack.

I have to go back to the shop and see lol. I want to say it was called "tantric pleasures" or something by this brand that packages them in a circle shape.
It was nice because it was tighter around the base and loosened up around the top ish area to allow the condom to slip around a bit up there while remaining secure, or something like that. Just had some more room while being secure.
Lol part of it is about her, if she's getting off more than you are she'll want to fuck whenever you want to fuck. So it pays to please her because it will please yourself lol. If you aren't worried about STDs, real lambskin condoms are the best. They protect against pregnancy just fine, but don't stop STDs so these are more suited to men in LTRs. It's as close to bareback as I've ever had. Really, really great. Used them all the time with my ex wife who refused to take birth control. Expensive but worth it.
