For those curious as to why I would say "cold approach isn't seduction," allow me to elaborate:

Cold approach is just walking up to girls and shooting your shot. It's not clever openers. It's not methods to be more subtle and get them more comfortable before you shoot your shot. It's just HEY I FIND YOU ATTRACTIVE AND WANNA TAKE YOU ON A DATE.

The very moment that you plan ahead about what to say, or how to steer the conversation in your favor... it's now warm approach, and you're treading into game territory.

When you walk up and shoot your shot, being straightforward and open about your intentions, you're not seducing someone. You're just asking them out. And kudos to you for your honest attempts, but it's not seduction.

Cold approach is not "a major part of seduction" because it literally can't be. It's the opposite of seduction. It's the seduction equivalent of "I showed you my butthole, please respond".

The two concepts are mutually exclusive. If you're doing cold approach, you're not doing seduction. If you're doing seduction, you're not doing cold approach. You're just doing approaches. I hope this helps clear it up for you.

Honestly like 90% of the posts here offer absolutely nothing of value and should be deleted immediately. Like that post. Dude just wrote a short novel to say “having better social skills will get you more women” (NO SHIT) and then went on to brag about how he has better skills than most people and was able to meet 100 women. Completely pointless post. Just an absolute waste of time for anyone reading it.

Buddy I’m on the side of the moderators on this one . It was pointless just like the 9 paged novel one . The dude used 100 words to say “be sociable “ . Also it was worded in such a way . That it was probably going to start a insulting match between people .

If you haven’t paid attention - they on purpose leave FR for a day or two so that the people can get advice even though it is against the rules .

They tolerate my and others “bad” behaviour because we give useful advice . I got yelled at once for explicitly breaking a law (condoning sailing the 7 seas ) - and they let shit like implying it - slide

They have pretty good judgement when it comes to this stuff . You would do well to give them the benefit of the doubt .

I was also confused by this. I didn't read the entire post, so it may have deserved to be locked. But, cold approach and seduction are tied at the hip. It's the main reason people are here. Perhaps the guy didn't talk about seduction, just technical parts of an approach?

Yes, if you divide an approach into segments, cold approach is just the beginning of the interaction, like starting a conversation, so yes, is just the beginning, it is not a seduction... seduction comes later.
