Approaching a woman, staring her right in the eyes, complimenting her body, right before demanding her number is generally considered by the men in communities such as this one to be "confident" and "courageous." But a good argument can be made that such behavior is actually an example of male entitlement, which women find repulsive.

Are we men misunderstanding what real confidence is? Is there a way to show confidence but not entitlement when approaching women?
