any other advice? hey friend. the best advice I can give you is to stop looking for advice. plain and simple, just stop trying to perfect your life experience. it is what it is. start listening to yourself and not random faggots on the internet. go out and experience real life and stop analyzing everything so much its a waste of time

good question. If tiny humans whom you were unable to communicate with burrowed into your house against your consent and started breeding in your walls- you should be able to kill them. same for rats. it's just basic consistency to not kill something without just cause when you would literally reject the "justification" for it in any other relevant context

Killing animals needlessly for pleasure is sadistic. You offer up the two options in a binary. There is of course the possibility of doing neither. Im not being dramatic or woowoo emotional garb. Im just being real with you. In no other context would you think killing an animal needlessly is okay

Shooting helpless animals is not masculine faggot. Take up martial arts, learn to box, compete in a sport. No need to be sadistic.

not much you can do if you get sucker punched and double teamed. i think it goes without saying a lot of self defense is about evaluating dangerous situations and staying out of them. get knocked out on concrete? you have a pretty good chance of catching some brain damage, if not being put into a coma or death. if you're in a heated situation (which in this case you definitely should not have been unless you're 300 lbs and fucking jacked) try to get out of it and if anyone approaches you in a th…

I've done health tests, arteries are great not entirely sure how you'd assess this without going in and actually measuring the artery itself. being athletic does not necessarily equal good arterial health. excellent that your hormones are good though. but cardiovascular disease is the number one cause of death for a reason hombre. think about that- by a wide margin, most humans die from it. that means most humans going throughout their lives have it. Unless your total cholesterol is below 140 an…

you are self diagnosing. an inability to get and maintain an erection probably is a multifaceted issue so you should approach it from multiple angles. as I pointed out- it is NOT normal for a healthy man to not be able to get it up with multiple attractive partners, regardless of porn usage. your penis gets hard because the arteries in it dilate and increase blood flow to the spongy tissues inside. if your dick is not getting hard, there is a failure of your arteries to dilate. this indicates ar…

I have a shelf full of Cialis and Viagra and it doesn't fucking help hah to be honest bro, that doesn't sound normal. I've been severely addicted to porn myself to the point where in a relationship i'd sneak off and whack it in the bathroom while she was sleeping every night. and even then, I'd rarely get ED problems despite being with the same girl (no novelty boost) for years. not to make you worried, but if you genuinely want to fix the issue it is likely a multi-faceted one. this is what came to my mind. sucking dick is culturally the hallmark sign of submission for a girl. it's almost akin to cooking a meal for you, but in a sexual way. if your girl isn't enthusiastic to please you it should make you question why she doesn't derive pleasure from your pleasure. p.s: if you eat like shit, you probably taste like shit. Eat more fruits and vegetables and maybe your stanky dick will be less revolting

but eggs are great nutritionally eggs are balls of fat and cholesterol with a little protein. wow that's some crazy nutrition bro Unless you are like 70 years old with high levels of cholesterol there is literally nothing to worry about. the contrast of saying this while living in a world where globally cardiovascular disease is by far the number one cause of death is ASTOUNDING

Nobody medical uses the word "toxic" Toxic in this case is referring to the "lipotoxicity" inside your muscle cells due to saturated fat consumption. If you want a very detailed and clear explanation of what I mean, I'd recommend checking out this video." But the gist of it is that the breakdown products from saturated fat in your muscle cells lead to free radical production and inflammation, mitochondrial dysfunction, etc. Lastest news? Fat doesn't make you fat... that's a leftover of the corn/…

your liver produces cholesterol for that purpose. introducing extra simply overwhelms your livers ability to regulate it (humans lipid metabolism is built to hold onto cholesterol like crazy) and leads to elevated blood cholesterol levels increasing your risk of atherosclerosis. it takes a single egg for this to occur
/r/askTRP13/05/18 05:00 AM

saturated fat leaves toxic byproducts in your body damaging your pancreas and artery function. probably not the best for optimal hormone production

best way i would imagine is optimizing your diet as much as possible. past that? probably not much you can do. try eating a lot more vegetables and whole plant foods, ensuring you are eating very nutrient dense foods such as cruciferous vegetables.

Saturated fat is the healthiest and ,ost shelf stable fat there is. Not quite. It's certainly shelf stable, but that unfortunately does not equate to being good for your health. Saturated fat is harmful to the insulin-producing beta cells in your pancreas, and also raises your cholesterol levels in conjunction with cholesterol. So predictably in fact, Mark Hegsted created an equation for it. The top cardiovascular experts (esselstyn, williams, etc) recommend avoiding cholesterol and saturated fa…

What's wrong with steaks fried in butter? As long as the n3:n6 ratio is good, it's fine. well initially the problem is you're eating steak, which is very high in saturated fat and cholesterol. when you heat up oils to frying temperatures you're also creating potentially carcinogenic compounds from the oil itself, and then when you actually go ahead and throw the meat on there the proteins being cooked at that temperature create heterocyclic amines and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons which are k…

I can eat 5000 calories in 6-8 hours no problem during my bulk cycles. It's not EASY but it isn't impossible. sounds horrendously unhealthy. If you are trying to eat an abundance of vegetables and healthy fiber rich foods that is extremely unrealistic to expect of someone. Maybe if you're chugging olive oil and downing double deep fried steaks dipped in butter, but there's no reason to cut your eating window to just 6-8 hours daily. There are no health benefits to it and in your case it honestly…

Go to the gym AT LEAST 5 times a week i'd actually warn against over training as a novice. if you are serious about gaining strength, you'll likely be doing heavy compounds 3 times a week and you'll need time to recover. don't overtrain and waste your time. gonna shill this program again
/r/askTRP03/05/18 11:57 PM
2

Yup, just follow the program to a T. It is not unusual I've heard to deadlift 400 lbs after about a year on it if you train and recover properly. but do NOT try to change it- and ensure you are progressing 5 lb every other session. It will seem slow but you're working out 12 times a month so that's about 30 lbs ideally on your lifts PER month. Over the course of a year I'm sure the gains will slow a bit but still very significant.
/r/askTRP03/05/18 05:02 AM
1

Use this program, on cutting: "How should I lift when cutting? The cutting version is 3x5 for main lifts, 2x8 for accessory lifts. Also, you only progress every other session, not every session. Example Workout B: deadlift 200, next workout B: deadlift 200, next workout B: deadlift 205.

Confidence should be innate, regardless of status, money, body or power. that's not true. confidence is a by product of your perceived competence level in differing aspects which is largely impacted by others view of you. You can be "comfortable" with yourself, but to say being huge and strong will have no impact on even your individual confidence versus being scrawny is just being plain dishonest

If it was just pleasure then they'd open their legs for every male so long as he's not too ugly. well no, most women will spread their legs for you if you meet their criteria for what they find attractive and if the circumstances are right. just like for men. That which is easy to attain is valued lowly for men. Not a good generalization. Obviously supply will play a role in the perceived value of activity X, but there are plenty of things that even in high supply (think drugs, stimulating media, hyperstimulating foods, SEX) barring ridiculous extreme circumstances will always have a high perceived value relative to most other things. And this goes for both sexes not just men. He just forgot women and men have different value systems. huge generaliza…

That's a recipe for codependency. You're very unsatisfied with your life so you want some girl to come fix it. Do yourself a favor and never get into a relationship with this mindset, it's completely toxic and ultimately stems from you having significant internal issues that need to be addressed, not covered up by some idealic romaniticization of a girl.

I'd like to add poor cardiovascular health. It's likely a combination of factors, but if you regularly raise your LDL cholesterol with animal products or shitty junk food that contains saturated fat/cholesterol you are going to get plaque formations in the -very small- penile arteries that make you erect. They're easy to block. I recommend a whole foods vegan diet, B12 supplemented ofc, and exercise. You will get rock hard goliath dick anytime you need it.

Yeah, it was a much more gradual experience for me. I smoked weed and had my first panic attack then was pretty much dibilitated for the next three weeks unable to leave my house. The only singular way to get rid of it is by forcing yourself to face the fear in question, be it people or whatever. You are either not giving yourself adequate recovery time, are training too much for a beginner, or your diet is garbage. Probably a combination of all three. Track your micronutrients and try to get them all from plant foods. Lots of anxioxidants, zinc (pumpkin seeds, grains, hemp seeds), and take a vitamin B12 supplement (2500 mcg a week of CYANOCOBALAMIN) and a vitamin D3 supplement (lichenbased, 2000IUs daily) depending on how much sun you get. Generally speaking, humans are drawn to novelty, charisma, and status. If the word on the block is that you're a cool dude, people will be drawn to you especially if they don't know much about you. There are different types of charisma but they all revolve around rock solid frame and naturally comfortable body language and facial expressions.

Yep, internalize that. This girl isn't yours, and the relationship is going to end someday. You need to be okay with that. I personally think monogamy is a horrendous idea- it goes against the main principles of attraction and human nature, and harbors jealousy, insecurity, and codependency. I understand some people may have a preference for it but as far as I can tell anybody that actually wants monogamy is coming from a place of scarcity and dependence.

First off, stop overthinking things. Enjoy the process. Work towards a goal. as someone interested in making music and learning programming, thanks man. I get so caught up with the end goal of business X or album X or service X that I completely overwhelm myself and lose any interest in pursuing the skills. Starting small always helps keep it fun and interesting. I'll start creating small projects to do. god bles

Serious question- aside from not having any details on the level of intoxication, don't you think girls hanging out with a dude smoking weed and drinking are probably aware they're going to end up fucking later? And if they use him for weed/alcohol why is the moral imperative on him to not use them back for sex? It doesn't seem like anybody is using anybody in any unfair way, it seems like a fairly normal transaction

Any food releases dopamine tard. The neurotransmitter pretty much exists to motivate us to eat hahaha. Fruit (berries in particular) are absolutely loaded with antioxidants and other phytonutrients that have plenty of positive health benefits for us. You say "you need to supplement things such as vitamin B12", but the phrasing you use is highly misleading. Things? You mean one thing, right? I take one pill a week for my B12. It's cheap and easy to supplement, really not a big deal at all.

It's concerning you are simply going to take a stranger's advice on this- but if you legitimately want a scientific answer, anything that isn't a whole plant-food is more than likely going to cause some kind of damage to your body. Fried foods are the worst, animal products are bad, and processed foods generally aren't very good for you. Best way to get over this is to continue pursuing women regardless, embrace the rejection, take it less seriously, and eventually have fun with it. "Fake it til you make it" is a great phrase, and I want to take a minute to expand on what it really entails and why it is (psychologically speaking) completely necessary for developing behavior. Internalization is such a complex process I doubt its the same across the board for everyone. In my case, two variables seem to have the greatest impact on speeding it up. 1.) Time exposed to concept. The more I am exposed to a concept, and the more scenarios my brain is able to apply it to seem to significantly increase my internalization of that concept. 2.) Women tend to be more socially savvy than men and in most contexts this is to build positive rapport with another female to further their social status. Men do this as well sometimes but because women generally have a better grasp of the meta game they are more likely to engage in social norms like this. Everybody likes hearing that they are attractive- especially women, because that is their most valuable trait for mating.

It's really unfortunate that your response is so irrational and emotional. There is no logic at all in what you just said, and you are blatantly wrong about cholesterol. The reason they do this is so that they can take a cross-sectional look at the data between two people who eat the same amount of saturated fat/cholesterol yet have varying cholestero…

If you have low testosterone it is simply a result of not eating a nutritionally adequate diet unless it's from a genetic disorder. It has nothing to do with carbs or fats specifically, you need a certain amount of fat to absorb fat soluble vitamins but thats it

Olive oil has no nutritional benefits. It is just another high omega 6 refined oil that goes rancid at very very low temps compared to other oils. Butter is loaded with saturated fat and cholesterol. Your blood glucose levels are suppose to rise after you eat. There is nothing with it so long as you do nt suffer from insulin resistance, which is caused by toxic breakdown products from saturated fat that inhibit the binding of insulin to your insulin receptors.

I'll respond thoroughly when I have time but for the time being I'd like to point out in order to produce butyrate your microbiome need to eat prebiotics like fiber and resistant starches. When they cannot produce butyrate then you will suffer from auto immune inflammation which is why IBS is becoming such a significant issue- people are not eating nearly as much fiber as they need to. This also means that the Gospels, for example - as “records, documents” - fall within the definition of “evidence” as well. the Gospels are evidence for christianity being entirely true in the same way that the Quran is evidence that Islam is entirely true. There is some historical fact in the books no doubt, but there are so many demonstrably false claims in them that they are not to be taken literally. Example: Humans did not come from Adam and Eve. Even the simplified idea that men somehow hold women back in the workplace is not an inaccurate way to characterize a fairly substantial amount of people's views in the progressive realm. It's a common issue that intersectionalists refer to as the oppressing class vs the oppressed. The "oppressed" class, in this case women, are seen as victims and inherently good, so when they succeed over the oppressing class it is an accomplishment. On the flip side when the oppressing class, in this case men, dominate over the oppressing class it is seen as a by product of the oppression of that class and is bad. Intersectionality is cancerous retardation.

I am a chronic LTRer and that chicken is coming home to roost. The reason is honestly very very simple and it's a common problem. Relationships give you oxytocin. a lot of oxytocin. this is why for many people (including me a few years back) we go fucking insane if we had to spend more than a day away from our LTRs. my advice- stop doing LTR's. they always result in heart break of some sort and will shackle you. learn to be independent and you will appreciate life in a way you never even thought…

Mature conversation is a way to rationalize not having to let her go. If she reaches out don't reply. Unless she left something at your place, there is no reason to talk to her and you know that. Go completely silent. Focus on you. She may try to get you back because she sees you as a beta and she doesn't want to lose you until she has an alpha to jump to.. but realize that's all it is. You are a temporary emotional place holder until another dude comes around.

Do what you want to do, man. Girls care more about aesthetics than how much weight you can lift. If you want to clean up your diet I recommend researching "whole-foods plant-based" ideas. Clarence0 has a pretty good video on it for strength athletes

I don't recommend saying this as OP has made it a point that she is prodding and being disrespectful. If he gives her an answer now it seems like he's caving into her bullshit. The correct answer is no answer, and wait until she either leaves or acts submissive. On a related note- in situations like this, you should pretty much never find yourself prefacing your sentence with "Fine". If you do there's a solid chance you are making a mistake and rewarding bad behavior with an answer.

Act however you want. You don't need to be "nice" or an "asshole", you need to learn when it is appropriate for either to be expressed, and to not let it break your frame if it doesn't get you fantastic reception 100% of the time.

This sounds like the proper response imo. I'm assuming you aren't constantly replying to her texts ASAP OP, but if you are stop that. It's a stupid question for her to ask and it doesn't deserve anything other than radio silence. If she chooses to go with the guy anyway I'd consider that a major red flag and demote immediately. This is a nice way you can turn a "shit test" into a test of her loyalty.

You don't understand.. Your cholesterol levels after a fast will fall around baseline. The problem is that you continually introduce high amounts of LDL after every meal, meaning 3-4 times a day for a few hours you have an insane amount of cholesterol in your blood. Saturated fat is correlated with higher testosterone because it is a fat. Monounsaturated fats had a higher correlation from that same study, by the way, but the reason fats in general boost testosterone is because you need them to absorb fat soluble vitamins. again, randomness does not exist. waves and particles react to various forces. nothing "just happens", something happens because a prior event had lead to it. gravity pushes particle A, particle A does not simply move. your thoughts are simply reactionary electrical signals that are in reaction to any number of stimuli all the time

determinism is more than likely true, but it doesn't matter. You should still have the drive to make yourself a better man. These ideas of personal responsibility and choice are social constructs that promote a better society. If we all just sat around saying "man.. theres no point.. i am a robot.. you are a robot.." then we would get nowhere. I mean you can do that if you want but the humans that aren't doing that are going to out compete you and ultimately live happier lives. Focus on your sel…

If you want a more pleasant skin tone without tanning (it will damage your skin and cause rapid aging and wrinkles) I highly recommend eating foods high in caretenoids. Here's a list of them. Eat a lot of them (they're very healthy for you) and they will change your skin pigment to be more attractive. Personal favorites of mine are kale and sweet potatoes. Meat contains dietary cholesterol and saturated fat. These two nutrients (especially when combined) will raise your LDL cholesterol levels. When your LDL cholesterol levels are higher than 70mg/dl they will over-saturate the LDL receptors in your cells and won't be absorbed. This makes the LDL particles circulate freely in your blood where they are eaten by macrophages and form plaques in the walls of your arteries. These plaques will result in worsened arterial function, which has a slew of dif…

Blood cholesterol levels are primarily determined by genetic make up and not necessarily dietary intake. This is misleading. While genetics play a big role in cholesterol levels, one's diet can play a significant role as well. As this meta-analysis finds simply removing 60% of saturated fat and 60% of cholesterol changed cholesterol on average by 0.8mmol/dl which is not an insignificant amount by any stretch of the imagination, and that isn't even a very large dietary change in itself. I understand why people want to be in monogamous relationships, as I said: it seems like all TRP men that advocate monogamy are likely to some extent going against their own rules due to short term pleasures or insecurity I think for a lot of men out there they get feelings for their oneitis and they can't handle the idea of them having sex/enjoying other partners. How long you been lifting for? The endorphines I feel from lifting are quite literally like shooting up black tar imo, i get immense amounts of pleasure from it and i feel fantastic afterwards. Recently started running and that has been a huge mood booster as well. It isn't easy, and I'm in the same position as you. We missed our window as kids to pursue what made us passionate before the cynicism and doubt ruined it. My advice is don't worry so much about reading/therapy. Finding things that interest you will take time and exposure to different hobbies. Don't be afraid to try a bunch of new shit with friends or even solo to see what you like. I'm personally thinking I might start taking dance lessons haha, never would've thought I'd want to. Nothing is wrong with you.. every person needs a mission in life. When you have no purpose, no meaning, then you are ultimately living in small bleeps of forgettable, daze-like snippets of time that further and further drive you to insanity as you try to comprehend why you should continue. The answer to that question is the cure to your depression- so go now and spend your life trying to find it. You aren't alone in feeling this way at all. In fact most people are still stuck on the first part- …

I think you're right that OP would do himself better by letting go, but I don't think it needs fixing just yet because nothing is inherently broken right now. You make a really good point here, and to be totally honest it's a decent opportunity for the OP to try and apply TRP principles to his current relationship to see how his partner reacts. If a guy has some minor problem with his girl. the solution isn't "DUMP HER SHE'S A HO". Being an entire country away from your partner is not a minor problem- that is a large issue. I notice that meditation is overall a way to keep myself in check. It, stretching often, and lifting are the main three ways I keep my willpower fueled and remain disciplined. Is this even possible? It is, but it requires work. You've been conditioned to rely on your partner for emotional stability and comfort. You need to break up with her and condition yourself to rely on you alone. I learned about TRP about 3 months ago and only recently internalized this part- it will take time and effort. I recommend learning how to discipline yourself with lifting, having a rigorous stretching routine, eating a lot of plant foods, and finding your place in life. Keeping a journa…

I don't understand why she does not respect me? You are emotionally dependent. This will come through in your actions, regardless of if you want it to or not. You agreed to be in a long distance relationship, this subconsciously lets her know that you have given up your sexual freedom in order to keep her around- i.e; you have let her know that you need her. Women don't want to be with a guy that needs them for emotional stability, and they don't respect guys like that either. Regardless, by acc…

I'm emotional trapped. This is not an excuse. Have some self respect. Regardless of what you do, your relationship is already fucked and has been for a while. By maintaining an LDR you are saying to her, "Yeah.. I can't do any better. Please don't leave me." This is similar to an LTR. Many people on TRP don't like to hear it, but by being in a monogamous relationship you are entering your partner's frame and dropping your own. It is literally giving up your sexual freedom to desperately latch on…

Phytoestrogens from soy are not a problem unless you eat a ludicrous amount of soy in a single day (like literally 24 servings of soy, most asians only eat 3-4) Phytoestrogens from hops in beer however can have estrogenic effects and will cause gyno. I recommend a fairly liberal vegan whole foods diet. You need to supplement B12 (and you should supplement vitamin D3 lichen-based) so that you don't get a B12 deficiency. We normally would get B12 from the bacteria in the water we drink but we have treated water now so its something you gotta supplement if you go vegan. The men will already have been prescreened before sex, if you are thinking that I'm trying to claim women just sat there with their legs open all day letting anybody drop a load then you're horribly misunderstanding my argument. Women have been biologically wired to sleep with multiple men. If you're going to deny this I really don't know what to tell you, maybe go look on Tinder? They wouldn't do it for recreation if variation in partners wasn't something that appealed to them. Novelty appeals …

you think being crempied by a bunch of males instead of the fittest one is a sound mating strategy? why do you think what I said implied they aren't getting fertilized by the fittest one? when you have sex with multiple men you are selecting for whoever has the highest fertility, ergo the fittest

Only one, but the more sex they have with the greatest amount of men the more likely the egg will be fertilized by the fittest sperm cell from the fittest guy. In itself having sex with multiple men is a method to naturally select for the most fertile guy

Any ideas? Are you over/underweight? Your hormonal system is heavily impacted by your BMI. If your diet is subpar then it's very likely you are suffering from several nutritional deficiencies. If there's one thing you can do to help with that, I'd recommend at the very least making kale/broccoli and some form of legume/whole grain a regular staple. Be it brown rice, black beans, lentils, whatever one you prefer. It's good to cycle through them too. It isn't too uncommon for omnivores to become B…

Here is a study comparing average testosterone levels in 233 vegan men, 237 vegetarians, and 226 meat eaters. I think performance anxiety stems from mainly two things- first is obviously social conditioning. You feel pressured to meet some idealized standard of a human male, and because of that pressure you focus less on the enjoyment of sex and more on how you are being perceived. It takes time to fix this type of mindset, but you absolutely can do things to help yourself now. Next time you see the girl or anybody for that matter, go into the night with an appreciative mindset. Thrive on the energy bet…

Eat a whole-foods plant based diet. Keto is just a ridiculous fad. Eat more whole grains, legumes, cruciferous vegetables, and fruit. Hello friend, your citation is 20 years old. This is irrelevant, it is a meta-analysis of intervention metabolic ward experiments done in a time where we could accurately measure lipid profiles in people. Yeah I think a lot of TRP mantra is centered around the idea of drilling depedestalization. It helps to see women as children to get us to give less of a shit about them. But the reality is that a lot of women you meet who are over 18 years old will generally try to emulate some form of maturity (as does everybody) though there will obviously be child like tendencies in there. They're not so much child-like as they are "woman-like" it's just a role women inherently like to play because it makes …

But -and this is important- men tend to act like children as well. It seems like "right to life" should be present only when sentience is present. For example, before the fetus is 7-8 months in, it's still the equivalent of a brain dead human physiologically. The only difference people seem to cling onto is the idea that it could potentially become something, whereas a brain dead human cannot. Eh to be fair you can gain weight eating just fats or just carbs, though IIRC fats are more readily stored as adipose tissue. You probably have atherosclerotic plaque around your pelvis. Erectile dysfunction is one of the early signs of atherosclerosis, if you eat a diet high in animal products (meat, milk, cheese, eggs) your LDL cholesterol levels will skyrocket past the natural 50-80mg/dl limit, and plaques will form under the endothelial wall in the arteries around your pelvis (and eventually your heart/brain). I haven't seen any controlled interventional studies showing that muscle mass increases more with soy/animal protein versus other sources of protein. The problem is that when you consume any type of protein that has an amino acid ratio similar to that of our own, our livers produce a large amount of IGF-1 which promotes cancer. A lot more fiber than you think. Our ancestors had on average LDL cholesterol levels around 50-70mg/dl because the meat was WAAAY leaner and they ate a huge abundance of plant foods to compensate. Regardless, our ancestors eating meat doesn't prove that it is good for our health. The diseases we get from meat typically hit around 40-70, so we are able to reproduce before we are killed by them. This means we haven't and never will adapt a means to deal with dietary cholesterol.

Red meats have an excellent protein profile.. In what context exactly? When you can get the same amino acids from plant foods I don't understand why cholesterol, saturated fat, and cancer would be promoted as healthy.

Eat clean - lot's of red meats. You know, even most carnism advocates don't recommend red meat. Hahaha you know your advice is terrible when even people eating your food group know it's bad. If you want to actually eat "clean", meaning not raising your LDL cholesterol or promoting cancer growth in your body, replace red meats for legumes and whole grains. Black beans and lentils have plenty of protein without all of the shit. OP- if you're underweight, you need to eat more. I recommend brown ric…

Chicken is usually very fattening. Out of all the meats it is the one most highly correlated with weight gain, I'd recommend swapping it out for lentils/beans. Throw some cilantro and bell peppers in that shit, top with avocado, bang. Delicious

There's a lot of bullshit out there, and people become so addicted to shitty food that almost any attempt at going on a "diet" will result in binging. I always recommend that people eat more plant whole foods. The fiber is filling, and when you make a dish with brown rice/lentils and veggies and top it with some avocado and salsa for example, it's actually pretty damn good. When you eat whole foods you can usually eat as much as you want because the fiber is so satiating and as long as you avoid…

It's enjoyable so long as you have a sturdy frame. It honestly just takes confidence- a man who is comfortable with himself and knows what he wants is the only type of man who can maintain a LTR for more than a few years. Of course, no man is likely going to be 100% perfect all of the time, but the general message is to be as sturdy as you can. Women understand that you are not God, they just want you to show that at least 80% of the time you are like a god.

I'm saying the concept of free will doesn't even really make sense. The amount of possible reactions we have to a question/choice depend on our prior knowledge/experiences of that specific choice/question/event. As you grow older and gain more experience in figuring out how people respond to certain things, you develop your answers based around what kind of reactions you are looking for. But you can't know right…

An interesting scenario to consider is one of a beta male being with a girl who becomes the "dominant" one in the relationship, but there are things holding her back from leaving. Be it codependence, waiting for the guy to change, etc. These things might keep a woman in a relationship for way longer because they feel like they can't leave. I think in general with questions about whether a certain behavior is biological/environmental, it always falls in the middle. It's hard to say. We know so little about psychology.. One person's BPD might be entirely different from another's. The fact that whilst taking medication, I am extremely high functioning adds weight to the argument that it is not an intrinsic personality defect. The feminine imperative wants you to think any and all violence is bad.. but it's a useful tool for teaching really stupid people to not be violent themselves. You sound like a good dude, you're being incredibly reflective about it. Keep on doing what you're doing and don't take shit from anybody.

that saturated fat myth has been disproved many times over. Here is a meta-analysis of nearly 400 metabolic ward experiments proving that saturated fat and dietary cholesterol raise your LDL cholesterol. I have no idea how people are still arguing that they don't. Anyways, having high LDL cholesterol is the main contributor to arterial plaque formations. This is a widely accepted fact in modern nutritional science. Here is a Ted Talk explaining how arterial plaque forms, and Dr. Esselstyn litera…

Do you have any sources for that or are you just pulling it out of your ass? The largest population studies to date have found a significant correlation between animal products and mortality and we even know the mechanisms as to why. Animal protein has numerous mechanisms by which it promotes cancer in humans. It isn't so much about "diet curing cancer", your immune system is naturally suppose to be able to deal with cancer, but the foods we eat today make our blood incredibly nutritious for can…

Man I feel ya. My recommendations: Vitamin D3, lift hard and heavy and fuckin love it, start a journal and make entries in it everyday, and MEDITATE. I've been almost completely isolated for weeks now and I've never been more disciplined. You can handle this, you are going to kick ass. Also whole-foods plant-based diet will give you insane amounts of clarity and energy. Check out this website, they have great unbiased nutritional research so that you can optimize your diet. Here are the current …

Yeah it sounds a bit too much, very kiss assy. I'd recommend sticking with something more like "No I'm enjoying this, go on." and then let her continue speaking. The OP sounds like he fucked up pretty bad and it's hard to recover from something like that. Honestly not even sure how to other than straight up apologizing haha.

Yeah please be careful man. It's tempting especially when there's an underlying friendship there, but wait it out for a while. Hangout with her more before you decide because once you do, there's no going back. And nothing is worse than being stuck in a dysfunctional LTR.. It can be traumatizing.

I am, I've been vegan for two years but about 10ish months ago went whole-foods plant-based and it was the best decision of my life. I had IBS and acne pretty bad and it completely disappeared (though I've been getting a few zits because I started working out recently I think) and my energy levels are ridiculous. If you want any tips or anything, I'm fairly knowledgeable for a layman and could offer advice. For anybody going plant-based, you need vitamin B12 supplements. You need at least 250 mi…

get your diet on point. For people interested in having a healthier diet, I'd heavily recommend checking out this website. It provides objective thorough research and you can go through any topics you want on the site for some info. My basic recommendations are: less processed foods, learn how to cook with black beans/lentils and get used to loving sweet potatoes and yams. Kale, brocolli, peas, and carrots make great soups. Enjoy! And yes, you can get a substantial amount of protein from eating …

It's hard to not gain weight in today's society. Tell her to go plant-based and not only will she lose weight, her cardiovascular system will benefit majorly meaning she will be able to get more aroused during sexy times. Seriously, it's perfect. You can offer the advice under the guise of health, and hey it's actually very healthy so it would be a good thing to do regardless. Saturated fat/cholesterol intake can create plaque build up and lower arterial function, which means when she gets arous…

nutrients that are impossible or almost-impossible to obtain through a plant-based diet The only nutrient that you can't get on a vegan diet is vitamin B12, which you need to take supplements for (either methylcobalamin or cyanocobalamin, cyano is preferred) Otherwise you can get every single nutrient (vitamin D is a problem if you live in a northern climate regardless of diet) without all the added saturated fat and cholesterol.

Yeah there are a few reasons dairy is bad. Lactose is incredibly insulinogenic, it's about as bad as white refined sugar. And then of course cholesterol/saturated fat is bad for plaque in your arteries which can lead to various cardiovascular related diseases (heart disease, diabetes, alzheimer's) but one of the biggest problems with dairy is the fact that it has such a high amount of protein in it. When humans consume protein from mammals, our liver produces a large amount of IGF-1 (Insulin-lik…

Dairy is roughly the same in terms of health as meat actually. Eggs are a little bit worse for your health than either imo because of the massive cholesterol boosting effects. And I think it's important to also tell people that the dairy industry and meat industry aren't separate, once dairy cows peak in their production of milk (around 5-6 years old) they're slaughtered into low-grade ground beef. And because they have to be impregnated, their calves are taken to be turned into veal/more dairy …

you need to realize that your "high energy" and "relaxed" states arent different selfs but rather two parts of you. If you want to feel more comfortable being "relaxed" then all you need to do is for yourself to belly breath in social situations, maintain eye contact always, and generally act more relaxed so you get more exposure being in that state of mind in social settings. we are conditional beings, we thrive on knowledge and our brains wont know how to respond to things from a relaxed state…

I've seen a few things lately that's making me think this subreddit is becoming a hive of conservative propaganda. Taking advantage of guys insecurity and willingness to do just about anything to try and seem "masculine", as if understanding human rights matter is somehow a sign of being feminine. I think this subreddit is retarded sometimes and really quickly will leap into a conservative mindset because people are worried if they have any empathy at all they're not going to get pussy. Am I the only person who comes on reddit actually interested in discussing shit? I really enjoy it. Your comment brought me an immense amount of dopamine. Morals are extremely subjective, and can definitely hinder someone from progressing to the acme of their potential. Not sure if you had a typo but I'm curious what you mean by this. I don't know, I guess it all depends on how you define it honestly. That website you keep linking is bunk, all of their "proof" is references to theoretical discussions on their own website. Your cholesterol profile is heavily affected by the type and amount of fats you eat. Eating a lot of saturated fat increases your LDL cholesterol, and people likely get saturated fats from sources that have a ton of cholesterol too. Never heard of the omega-6 correlation to blood vessel inflammation but animal products are also a huge trigger for an inflammatory response in your arteries

Hi, I don't know where your back pain is, but it can frequently be caused or exacerbated by having atherosclerosis in the blood vessels giving your discs nutrients. Eating too many saturated fats (meat, eggs, dairy, coconut, palm oil) will eventually lead to blockage and disc degeneration. Same with cholesterol (eggs, dairy, meat). If you eat the standard "protein" centric diet based on meat, I recommend you check out this video and see if the information can help you. Same with the OP.

Don't know why this isn't common knowledge but diet can and will completely change the course of ones cancer growth. I constantly see articles pop up about huge "break throughs" in cancer. The ironic part is that your body will reverse cancer by itself if you're healthy. The food you eat drastically determines how well cancer can reproduce and thrive in your body. Your brain works through a series of chemical reactions based on the stimuli it is processing. Much like every other effect, your brain's decision to do X was triggered, against your control, by chemical reactions. When we look at human behavior as a by product of actions and decisions the brain is making, we can start to see behavior as a subconsciously controlled thing. You can try to change your personality, for example, but in order to WANT to do that, you have to have an underlying reason. …

It died away when we began to realize humans don't have free will. Which is a good thing. A society where people can make mistakes and fuck up without their social value being completely destroyed is a good place to me. Not that we're there yet, but in general the group of people in the world that understand the inherent, impulsive, irrational nature of people (and other animals) is growing and that's a good thing.
