Because women want to control the sexual narrative. In one breath, they're whining about the patriarchy, and in another, they're valuing themselves on their sex appeal. I think there can be a balance between the two, but it's really telling when they criticize sex workers and sex technology, as if those areas are a threat or competition for them. I'm 200 lbs and I've rolled with purple, brown and black belt women, and I do think they'd be fine in a self-defense situation if their survival didn't involve a submission or knock-out. And most of the self defense lessons are a joke. One of the best SD videos I ever saw a muscular guy walking through a park and asking young women if they'd take part in his scenario. He puts on a bike helmet, grabs their arm, and tells them to do whatever they can to break free and run away. Some of the women were terrible and couldn't get away, while other were amazingly effective at breaking the hold and running for their lives.
