A sales person once tried the take away on me on a cold call. After I was asking questions, guiding the salesperson through what my problems were, the salesperson said I was being too difficult, that she needed to make more calls to make, and then hung up on me. 20 minutes later I get a call back with that person saying "Do you want this or not?" I politely start asking questions so that I can know whether this is a product I need (and believe me, I was ready to be sold to because the company ne…

MGTOW is a dangerous path though... I've been on the path and still see no need for having women in my life, which goes completely against core principles of sociobiology (weak don't mate, strong continue lineage). And in all honesty, at this point it's hard to tell whether I'm bettering myself with goals in mind or just because i've internalized a lot of the characteristics I've been working on (gym, healthy, better in school, no nerves when talking to girls or people in power positions.) I'd s…

You can eventually learn to mitigate your emotional responses. Ignoring something isn't the same as managing how you feel about it. I recommend reading about stoicism before just trying to simple ignore those groups or bottling up your feelings only for specific triggers (which is why sometimes people "explode" after bottling up emotions. the key is to stop all emotional displays rather than just those that make you, say in this case, angry.) I've oscillated my dedication to the practice over th…

Take this with a grain of salt, but it might be good to get the mind rolling on understanding both my point and throwawayyolo1. I've spent a fair amount of my education on the study of emotions (historically and theoretically, only know a marginal amount of my neuroscience behind it all since it's also still pretty shaky stuff) and mental health care in the US. I'd recommend just reading about Emotional Contagion and Group Emotion. It's much more sound science than most of the stuff you'll see o…

You are who you hang out with, which in this case is a victim even before she was a victim (if she was a victim, but that's besides the point). the "she" here is the friend, not Jackie. We don't know whether or not she is a victim, hence the "if". edit: I agree with you. late night, lots of finals. fucking second edit, jesus christ: the she in the parenthesis

from the WP article “I definitely believe she was sexually assaulted,” said U-Va. junior Alex Pinkleton, a sexual violence peer advocate who survived a rape and an attempted rape her first two years on campus and is a close friend of Jackie’s. “ You are who you hang out with, which in this case is a victim even before she was a victim (if she was a victim, but that's besides the point). So she already hangs around girls who've been raped/had rape attempted on them. If a bunch of RPs all hung out…

I've always wanted to just pick up a girl, take her home, and kick her out at the end of the night. To me that's something that I envy. He's not cut from the right cloth to MGTOW. I'm also quite sure he is envisioning a hot girl--a manifestation of the girls who won't fuck him. Shit and even if he starts lowering his standards and eating the scraps, he'll probably just end up in a relationship because he lacks experience in dealing with women. Realize that by making a NAMALT argument you miss the bigger picture of treating insecurity, confusion, and anger before "detaching" from sex the pursuit of sex. It's not going to work for everyone, but I'll be damned if success and self improvement don't make you feel good about yourself.

If you think about, she's dismantling her own argument. On a societal level, it means that resources are not as readily available for men who face these challenges, because patriarchal ideas tell our courts, our governments and our charitable organizations that men don't ever need that kind of help. Yes, the patriarchy overwhelmingly privileges the interests of men, but it also hurts men. It hurts men in all the ways that MRAs are apparently so concerned about, which means that you would think t…

As long as men's rights can appeal to the emotions of other men and mothers/sisters who are protective of their children/siblings, emotional contagion will take hold and reframe the discussion. The important thing is making sure that women do not dominate the emotional argument. And as much as I think logic and reason are important to dispelling emotional arguments, men's rights would appeal to a greater audience if it utilized more of an emotional hook for confused and frustrated men and women.…

I'm a little younger than your son, but I think something that off puts the male (and I'm assuming white) guilt is more important in disarming the control women have (and, that "women are always right"/"Men are always wrong" stereotype). I think that's why new TRPer alway brings in examples of women being "wrong" or doing the "wrong" thing, or being outright opportunistic without consideration to the negative externalities to others. Preach. Responsibility is the name of the game. Equity for women's rights doesn't mean there are no consequences to the negative things they do. I mean, just look at MRA and TRP--these are reactionary communities that feminist don't want to take responsibility for.

As much as people think this is a trap, this class doesn't deal with feminism or any female empowerment. The class is more of an exercise in analyzing the political effects of socioeconomic discrimination. The biggest side-effect for me wasn't about picking up women (never had issues picking up girls), but recognizing the biological imperatives of the sexes. And the critiques on third wave feminism. To be honest, most of this stuff you learn through life experience as a single male. If you don't go out ever, I can see how all TRP would contain novel concepts.

I think it's important to note that LMR can be avoided if you do a good enough job at 1 and 2. Personally, if I get LMR, I just abandon the play. It's the female insurance policy to pull the rape card--something if you've ever had to deal with will recognize is definitely not worth the lay. Those charges follow you for a long time, truthful or not.

I think it's important to recognize that TRP is a means to developing a system of self-improvement that caters to your wants, needs, strengths, and weaknesses. The same way your career plans change, and your friendships change, you too will change. It just so happens most people are here for sexual strategy. I find, personally, that it's a good way to step back from societal normalcies in a more objective (albeit generally empirical) way. TRP gives you food for thought on how to fix aspects of y…

I think the idea is that you always invest equal to more in yourself than your partner when you are following TRP principles. When you hit an LTR, it's very easy to slide back into your pre-programmed state of mind, which is why you maintain frame. College rape-accusations are definitely the most defamatory and difficult to defend. Many top--tier private universities utilize a system where whoever has more witnesses on their side prevails. Consider this example: College Girl A (CGA) just got PUAed by what she thought was a "nice guy" (NG), but after a pump and dump left her feeling upset and used. Now, rather than go to authorities, CGA goes to her local women's center, because that's what she has been conditioned to do since orientation. …

He's not aware of what you did for him, and it's not in her nature. This. Picking up girls effectively is about maximizing your utility. You do the best with what you've got. If someone else is getting shafted for it, it doesn't matter--that person's utility doesn't matter because you're in healthy competition. Morality is as much a social construct as monogamy.

There is one time to do it: If you want to end the relationship and spin in it such a way that she was an incapable person, then you might like the consequences. But really that's just mean and not what RedPill is about. Would you like it if your best friend told you he fucked your gf when you were at the library pulling an all nighter? He would've been successful at planting the seed and pissing you off.

The noble savage is also a pretty good one. I remember reading in college an article about women who would go to this one tribe in ecuador or colombia or somewhere just for sex tourism and then bounce NSA, often times back to their boyfriends/husbands without a worry. These tribal dudes, though, would try their best to gold dig this women as best they could. EDIT: Meisch -- Gringas and otavaleños: Changing Tourist Relations It's worth a read. Some serious redpill info in there.

Information asymmetry is a natural part of maturation. When it comes down to it, practicing redpill behavior is about increasing the asymmetry of information in one's favor (ie, being mysterious, "i bet this guy is wanted by lots of girls", he dresses so well that he must have the $$$ ). When it comes to the theory behind this legislation though, all it proves is that humans (don't want to pigeon hole women since anyone could fall into an abusive relationship) cannot be trusted to recognize the …

You just never know when she comes crawling back if it's because a) she feels disposable and needs a pick me up or b) you became more of a man without her and that pisses her off.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
