It's not necessary to be physically stronger than your victim in order to rape them. The cases where that is necessary, it is typically a male perpetrator and it is also the least prevalent form of rape. It is much more common for rapists (male and female) to take advantage of their victim's (male and female) diminished capacity. Drunk, passed out, drugged, etc. Male and female rapists are pretty much the same in that regard.

I think what's unique to a female rapist is that she can use threats of false accusations as a means of control. She can say that if you don't go along with it, she will tell everyone that you raped her. If society generally thinks that men can't be raped because they're physically stronger, then this form of coercion can be quite effective.

Often general causes are: Too drunk. Threats. Blackmail.

There's a specific story about a guy who went over to a friend's place for the night, and her roommate was 'slighty' obese and just started humping him in his sleep, so tough luck trying to push off someone more than twice your weight.

Most obviously, "tend to have" does not mean "always have". Not every man is an indestructible terminator ninja dinosaur. There are also older men, young boys, disabled men... and men can also be tired, drunk, drugged, etc. Or blackmailed.

How about "I'll tell people you raped me if you don't have sex with me" or variants of that kind. "I'll tell people you're gay if..." etc.

Before I found the MRM and peer support, I felt victimized by women all the time about sex. I was conditioned into the belief that it was my "duty" to have sex with them whenever they wanted, and that I only had social value when I was performing deeds for a woman, and that I was wrong for not wanting sex all the time.

This isn't quite rape, but it is still very disempowering to say the least. I felt coerced by society in general to have to say "yes". This is the real "rape culture" in action.

violent rape is a long way from the only kind of rape. If you don't understand that, then go spend some time reading the feminist definitions of rape...then you'll understand that as far as they are concerned physical strength is not even an issue.

When you live with someone, you have to sleep some time. At which point you are helpless. Your partner can stun you so badly that you wont be able to fight back. It wont matter how much bigger you are.

So upper body strength is not limiting factor to how much damage you can do in an intimate setting.

The more common limiting factor is how vicious you are. Women can be just as vicious as men, in case you hadnt noticed.

For someone who doesn't understand how a man could be raped by a woman, you certainly seem very knowledgeable about rape statistics and DEFENDING from a position of men-can't-be-victims in your replies.

It's not all about what the woman does; the other side is what the man doesn't do. In every western country I can think of, men are taught to NEVER fight a girl/woman. In a lot of cases, it may not even occur to us to try beyond pushing their hands away and/or saying "no."

I've had a naked woman climb on top of me with her boyfriend still in the apartment, and between exhaustion, alcohol, and inexperience, I was thrown enough to just let her do her thing.
