I watched a bit of the presidential debate tonight and one of the questions posed to President Obama was about the wage gap between men and women. The Young Woman who asked the question said specifically that Women make about 72% of what men make. I've seen a lot of talk on here about how the wage gap theory isn't necessarily true. However, I've never really understood the arguments against it, nor did I see anything in the sidebar about it.

I know there are more pressing matters to attend to, but if someone has the time, and could explain to me (with as few big words as possible) why feminists believe there is a wage gap, and why MRAs tend to believe that there is no wage gap? I would sincerely appreciate it.
