I saw much of this on a recent documentary about him, around the time he got divorced and quit WWE or whatever the fuck its called now.

It really made me sad. He was a childhood hero of mine, watching him hit rock bottom nearly brought me to tears.

This isn't a bad thing.... if a macho guy like Hulk Hogan can talk about being, mentally abused by his now ex-wife, maybe it will allow other men to accept the fact they have been mentally abused also.

I'm pretty neutral on Hogan, but this has improved my opinion of him. In a society where men are shamed for admitting that they are anything other than solid steel automatons it takes real guts for him to speak out about this.

Devil's advocate here, Hulk Hogan is basically a pathological liar. He will make up stories that not only never happened, but could never have happened. Like out-drinking John Belushi after a particular Wrestlemania 4 years after Belushi died. Or Andre the Giant dying a few days after Wrestlemania 3 due to the bodyslam Hogan delivered, except that Andre was still alive for nearly 6 years after that event. I wouldn't be shocked to learn that he made that up, especially with how lopsided and acrimonious their divorce was, not that I'm defending his ex-wife.
