Luckily there's a dozen places he can go- PTA, Superintendent, local news, a lawyer, bring it up at a town hall meeting, or School Board.

It's a shitty problem (no pun intended) but one that's very, very easily solved.

In my h.s. some of the restrooms (women's) didn't have stall doors and some had curtains. I suppose if you are worried about graffiti, curtains are an okay compromise, though I shudder to think what people could do with/to the fabric. Maybe they could reinstall the doors and paint them with a material that wouldn't take graffiti?

I recall when I was in boot camp in the military, our bathrooms didn't have stalls at all. All the commodes were lined up along one wall of the room without any dividers separating them.

I have a question for the men: how do you feel about urinals being all exposed? Ive thought about this and there is no logical reason at all for this, other than saving money on putting stalls around them.

They did it that in my high school too and I always thought it was stupid and making all males in the high school guilty until proven innocent. Most guys just wanted to take a shit in private, not deal drugs or whatever the hell it is they thought we would do if the stalls had doors. This is a ridiculous policy and I hope it gets outlawed.

Guys, there is no law, at least in Canada that states you have to usr your gender assigned washroom. Go into the ladies, this will cause a fuss and bring issues to light.

Knock on the door, open it slightly and yell "Maintenance". If you get no response go right on in and do you business. On the odd chance someone walks in while you are on the can just yell out, "Sorry closed for maintenance." Also something you might want to consider is taking the tools you will need to remove the doors from the women's room and install them in the boys rooms. Odds are there will be twice as many stalls in the women's bathroom than in the men's bathroom so you won't need all of them.

My response would be society stop abusing and neglecting children. And stop putting them into statist indoctrination camps for 12 years of their lives. Stop spanking them, the large proportion of children raise today are neglected psychologically. In addition they do not eat a full healthy diet.

What would I do? Hmmm Well I don't really go school toilets. I have a persistent phobia of them. So basically though I would just write on the walls "MEN'S RIGHTS TO PRIVACY". Or "12 years of forced child sacrificial indoctrination centers and I have to put up with this!?"

It will raise some eyebrows, they take it off? Keep putting it back on. It's a bathroom you have lots of time to do that. And what are they going to do? Take away the bathroom walls?

While arguing how this was silly and a sad moment for r/mensrights I was told "there was no way in hell they'd take the doors off of the ladies room". Well here is an instance from Texas back in January where they did just that.

Reminds me of the book The Second Sexism, where the authors argue that men have less rights in terms of bodily privacy compared to women. Like ruling that journalsts have the right to interview athletes in male locker rooms, but not in female locker rooms. This seems to support it.

Imo, this isn't really a big gender rights issue that any of us should be focusing on. If only the guys are writing on the walls, then it's not unreasonable to remove only the doors on the guys' stalls. I don't think that it's an appropriate response, to remove privacy, but I think that responding to only one gender isn't unreasonable.

When I was a senior they took the doors off of the boys bathrooms to get us to stop smoking so much pot, selling drugs, and smoking cigs. I mean we we're in there have a beer/drink or two most days. I didn't blame them nor did I find it to be discriminatory. That is were the vast percentage of drug selling and drug using was happening.
