I just find it interesting that truth itself is often considered misogynistic (or "negative about women," same thing really) by some of these people. If it doesn't fit their narrative, it's made to be taboo so it's ignored anyways.

As I said In another post yesterday there are jobs where women get paid more (usually traditional female jobs) yet I still see those people saying women are disadvantaged according to pay.

unexplained wage gap is that women are less likely than men to negotiate their salaries.

This is also a reason women get worse prices when buying cars and getting them fixed, my buddy worked at a garage a while back and said they would let women think they were taking advantage of workers by being pretty or whatever when really it's only a small discount and they were more often satisfied that they were getting the best deal but if they had tried actually negotiating they probably would have got a better price.

No one wants to be oppressed, but it everyone would want to be classified as being oppressed. Everyone has their problems, and who wouldn't want everyone else to agree with them on how much of a burden their problems really are?

People want to be told "hey, we fixed the wage gap, now women make a ton more money than they used to!". They don't want to be told "Oh, looks like we were mistaken, you aren't really being systematically paid less". Now the only thing that's changed is that society has stopped looking at your problem as a big of a problem.

Wage gap thing is old news. What I want to know is when are women going to start fighting the stereotype of the male being a default pedophile and the resulting, real world, real market, prejudices being practiced against males?

Oh right, never. Still fighting over what elements of reality are PC.
