Yes, it's good that you contributed to the conversation and didn't troll them. But you don't need to make a post here (as has become increasingly more common) bragging about how awesome you are for doing it. 2xC is one of the most moderate subreddits out there pertaining to gender issues, and for the most part they don't partake in gender-pitchfork raids like certain other subreddits and don't always collapse to the "amg the evil menz are rapin everyone!1@#!!" defense. They give us the respect (for lack of a better term) of not frontpaging posts about how they came into MR and showed us the light, we should give them the same. A good amount of their regular posters, including some mods, have made it quite clear that they don't want this happening, and to be honest all gloating does is make another circlejerk here about nothing.

If you have something constructive / non-trolling to contribute, awesome. but you don't need to come here and brag about it and make them look worse than they actually are. some people just honestly don't know the other side of the coin, and 2xC seems to be quite respectful of those that intelligently show them the side they don't know.
