How about a subreddit similar to /askfeminists for MRAs, and one for cross discussion between feminists and MRAs?

is there any reason /askmras is necessary when people already regularly post questions here?

i'm not opposed to a sub for cross-discussion, though i don't see it getting much use really.

at this point, i'm not sure more sub's about this stuff helps. only the most dedicated of gender-minded folks would actually find most of the gender-related subs these days.

So far, in my experience, I've had people completely dismiss my opinion on anything, not just sexism or anything related to gender equality, merely because I post here. And it's not just me. A lot of people automatically dismiss anything you have to say just because you post here. That also ties into people refusing to have anything to do with people who genuinely are interested in equality who simply post in the same area as the dingdongs who are spewing shit like 'hurrdurr shut up womynz make sandwichz lulz'.

People don't take us seriously. People don't want to listen to us, and if there even are people who do, they are outnumbered by the people who would rather see anything we have to say silenced.

I had know idea r/askmras even existed. I have been on reddit for around three years, and this subreddit for propably two and a half. I seriously doubt there is even a dent of enough awareness of that subreddit to begin to sway the majority of people's minds.

I'm sorry i'm a downer today i had a long shitty day. I may be completely wrong because i'm a little drunk so take my comment with a grain of salt.

Because there is no reasoning with feminists. Honestly I know that there are alot of MRA's who mistakenly believe that MRA's and feminists want the same thing, but you are clearly noobs, and you will figure out on your own after enough time that feminists cannot be reasoned with, the "moderate" feminists are only interested in defending the name of feminism, not stopping the feminists from being sexist, just stopping us from pointing it out.

Given that this sub's mods does not ban people simply for having dissenting opinions like most feminist subs do, I would say no.

I've actually created a sub, but it's not done yet /r/TheGenderWars. I want to make it a place for debate on gender subjects, but I'm still working on the rules. It would be something like a subject post and then people would write a for and/or against post which people can respond to and debate on. A kind of point/counterpoint style debate sub. I think it would be a good way to strengthen and test ideas using debate.

I actually think that is a hell of a good idea. Not sure how much it will help, but it is a damned good step in the right direction.
