Ask her if she would be in favor of the same for female rapists, female statutory rapist, or females who sexually assault orally or digitally: can we remove the clitoris, or the offending digit, or perhaps remove her tongue? What about females that used an object [beer bottle, dildo, rose stem,] should we just remove their entire hand, as that was the offending appendage?

If no, then she's a sexist. If yes, she's in favor of cruel and unusual punishment that almost all of western society has deemed as irrelevant to the modern era.

Ok so I am in my freshman writing course (part 2) and our second essay is a multi source essay and our topic is something that is legal/illegal and why it should be legalized. He is very lenient on topics so I guess he is ok with it. I haven't really heard her argument at all, but she just laughs and says, "if you touch my parts and I don't want you to, you deserve to have your dick cut off! hahaha!"

Was just wondering what you guys think about this, I just found it to be ridiculous.

Obviously I am against such things no matter gender... but that's actually because I give a shit about equal rights. But let's not contend that imprisoning people for decades is somehow better than cutting off people's dicks. In fact, I bet some people would prefer losing a body part to being cages, raped, assaulted, battered, and even murdered in prison.

Does she also believe that women should have their hands cut off for stealing, that women should have their face burned for emotionally abusing others, that women should have their genitals sowed shut for committing adultery or that women should have their womb destroyed for committing parental fraud? Does she also think women should have their ovaries pulled out for kicking a man in the groin, taking advantage of men sexually or as a penance for rape? Permanent physical harm, torture and disproportionate retribution(like, for example, aggravated and grave sexual assault causing permanent physical damages and life-altering changes as retribution for moderate sexual assault resulting in minor/temporary physical harm) are not acceptable ways to deal with crimes in any other modern society(especially not crimes who's severity is both subjective, influenced by social misandry and heavily biased towards women). Why is it even acceptable for someone like this woman to think so less of men as to deem this an acceptable answer? If this woman saw men as equals in the first place, she would make the case that rape is the punishment for rape(as barbaric as that sounds); making a case for male castration(a position which is already too common and blindly accepted as a result of misandry and female privilege) truly demonstrate a very low/sub-human view of men in general.

Clearly this should not be the law for a variety of reasons (chiefly that some innocent men would have to suffer this punishment)

But imho some cruel and unusual punishment for certain especially harmful crimes would have positives that outweigh the negatives. A violent rape is one of the worst things you can do to a person, and when there's absolute proof of his guilt, I think he deserves a harsh punishment like that. And if it's a woman, a Middle-East style "circumcision". Fuck rapists.

I'm also morally in favor of the death penalty, though I'm opposed to it now ever since I found out it costs more money to execute (with legal fees etc) than a life imprisonment costs.

To the OP though, it certainly sounds like the girl in your class hasn't thought it through. Sounds like the typical mindset of "lol cutting off a penis sounds funny! lets make laws out of funny things!"

If all rapes were violent, cases clear-cut, and offenders vicious, it sounds like a fun idea. I'd leave genital cutting to the victim, not the justice system, though.
