"Misandry" may be the most efficient word in the English language. In just one word it condenses the self-denying assholery of "I'm not a racist, but ..." with the misogyny of "All women are bitches," throwing in a free persecution-complex bonus, because it's not like the user was going anywhere. Our previous codeword for "biggest asshole on the planet" took two words because Donald Trump has a first name.

That isn't even an argument.

If you think hot women have it easy because everyone wants to have sex at them, you're both wrong and also the reason you're wrong. Most people don't base their quality of life around how hard it is to get laid, because they actually do get laid, and it isn't that hard to do. Being a straight male is tremendous fun and sexuality's lowest difficulty setting: You know what you want and everyone else in your demographic will praise you for being able to do it. No one else on the spectrum of sexual orientation can say that. If women hate you for cursing about how stupid "bitches" are, it's not because you're the victim of an anti-male conspiracy: It's because you're you.

This is surprising since his #7 stupid defense was "Claim the Other Person Is Just Trying to Get Laid." His argument is people who claim misandry are straight men who are just trying to get laid but can't.

Cracked isn't doing a good job of keeping up with the times by failing to treat men's issues with any degree of legitimacy.

I think he proved the commenter's point.

It's interesting how hypocritical this article is. He's lashing out at people who are attempting to shame his [male] sexuality (which is misandry, incidentally), but then he's trying to shame their [male] sexuality.

Never mind the actual subject being discussed; this is just an exchange of childish insults ("you're gay!", "yeah, well, you're a virign!"), and a prime example of misandry and shaming male sexuality ("You disagree with me? You must be a lonely virgin who never interacts with women, except your mum! Therefore, your argument is invalid and you are worthless.")

As I'm sure we all know, women are graceful higher beings whose judgement is more important than anything else. If you are not popular with women you are worthless.

The feminists on tumblr (which I'm sadly exposed to through my feminist best friend) were absolutely enamored by this quote and happily took it out of context to describe misandry as a whole.

"Feminism is about men's rights too! LOL misandry doesn't exist."

Misandry is simply the male version of the word misogyny. You know what is sexist? It's implying that using the male version of a word makes you an asshole, but using the female version of a word is normal; in fact, he ironically stated that anyone who uses the term "misandry" is both an asshole and a misogynist!

It's like saying the word "boy" is not sexist, but the word "girl" is.

This entire article is bullshit. The best way to discriminate against a group of people is to make it socially unacceptable for them to defend themselves.
